  1. Bill, no offense taken. When I said "I'm not sure if English is your first language", it was meant as a question. Next time I'll ask it in a better way, not to Radgav though I think she has enough on her plate.
  2. Bill I think language is one of the main problems here, but not the only problem. I asked Radgav if English was her first language, all she had to write was yes or no. If she had of said no, then I think everyone would understand half of the problem. But instead of saying yes or no, she wrote instead "I think it takes common sense to understand what you're reading". Happy Easter everyone.
  3. Congratulations. Your going to have a great head of hair.
  4. Jotronic you are a wealth of information, and I know helping others with hair loss is your passion. Keep up the good work, and thank you.
  5. Radgav, I'm not sure if English is your first language, but could you please spell properly and use capital letters when needed? If you are a here to represent a Doctor, a professional, I think you should act and type in a professional manner. JMHO.
  6. It looks like your hair is starting to fill in, looks good now. Are you thinking of growing it longer? Taking anything for the growth? MSM?
  7. LL how is the hair? Would you say most of the grafts grew in? Some people have said theirs didn't, and with you having such a large session it would be interesting to know if most of them grew. Also, when you had your ht was it just one strip cut out? or did the Dr come back and take out another strip later on? I had my ht one month ago and a lot of hairs have not shed and they are growing now. BTW I'm British also, currently living in Canada.
  8. If you do a search you might find some patients of Dr Epstein. How extensive is your hair loss? How many grafts are you going in for? Any photos? Good luck with your surgery.
  9. Ms.Nguyen, you only have so much donor hair. Maybe only enough to cover your bald patch. So make sure you choose wisely, because when it's used up, it's gone. If it was my head, I would not got get a ht with a Doctor that removes moles, or does other surgeries. I would only go to a Doctor that performs ht's only, and has done thousands on them. And only from a highly recommended Doctor. My suggestion is that you send your photos to at least 3 different ht Doctors, plus the clinic your thinking of going with. Research, research, research. You don't want to make a mistake.
  10. Radgav could you post some details on the first ht? Number of grafts? 2000? If it was 2000, it looks like only 50% grew in BTW Hairbank, your hair looks great.
  11. Ms.Nguyen if you go to the top of the page it says "find a surgeon" just click on that. It would be a good idea to send your pictures to a few Doctors and get an online consultation. And don't let traveling out of California stop you if you find a good Doctor out of state. A lot of these Doctors work with people that have had chemo and other treatments were the hair did not grow back. So you should have no problem getting a good head of hair.
  12. MSM for hair growth. Some people notice twice as fast hair growth with MSM. So if you just had a ht you want the hair to grow fast. It will not work like Rogaine and regrow hair. Do a search on MSM and research it more.
  13. Actionradar I know this is tough right now and you were hoping for a full head of hair. But, I also will agree with B Spot on this one, you need another 4000+ grafts in the frontal half for good density. And if your not already on Propecia or Avodart you should get some professional advice and try to stop future hair loss. Good luck.
  14. Last year I was told by a cardiologist to change my diet away from meat, dairy and carbs. My diet is now high bran, fish, soy and low meat and low fat. From what I have been reading recently, mostly because I notice it more maybe, is that soy is a mayor reason why the Japanese have less heart attacks, live longer and have less prostate problems and less hair loss than the west. I take soy with my all bran bud cereal every morning now. And, to cut a long story short. I still lost a lot of hair in the last year. I think once the gene for hair loss is switched on, it's difficult to stop with food and exercise alone. If your not already taking Propecia or Avodart, now would be a good time to think about them. But as with everything, get professional advice, and do your own research, which it looks like your already doing.
  15. I just ordered a 3 month supply of Rogaine foam on Ebay for $25. When it arrives I'll use it to try and kick start the newly transplanted hairs growth. After the 3 months I'll discontinue use and just stay on Propecia. I'm taking 3000mg of MSM also for the first 4 months. I'll post my results good or bad in 4 months or so, then others can judge if it works or not.
