Thanks for all of your comments on my recent post and appreciated for letting me know my mystake.I too knew that it takes around 12 months to see the outcome of the HT but some how i lost patience now i realzed that its my mistake.

I contacted epstein after doing a lot of re search, he too understood that i am from india and taken less amount when compared to his normal charge. I will post my pics soon about my ht.Its the time 2 wait and see the result of the game...no one can say the result of the game in middle.Saying frankly...i felt that left side is having considerable growth and right side it is little bit slow when compared to right hand side.After looking at couple of posts, i realized that it is common...and nothing 2 worry.

Once again thanks for epstein work and his team..all the above commets are from my heart.

I would like to say sorry to epstien in the forum itself. I felt so unhappy as i couldnt see much growth on the right side since the first day where as i have seen very considerable growth on left side.Might be i lost patience because of this reason and dont want to blame anyone.Even i have approached Mr.Epstein after lot of investigation..as i am young - around 26 years..might have thought that i will be bald less after surgery. After looking at all of your comments, i sent a mail to epstein about my deatils.

I will send/post my pics as you guys suggested after 12 months.In couple of weeks i will be back to US and will call epstein for my mistake.You guys can understand if a guy is loosing hair at the earlier age and his frustration...it might be the reason to loose patience...no hard feeling at anyone.Once again thanks to epstien and others for letting know my mistake.

I had a HT with epstein in August-07. I sent pics to Epstein and he suggested me to have 2200 grafts.I went to miami all the way and had a HT, initially i wan not happy with the hair line boarder that he planned..especially on right hand side...he told me that if he plants more grafts then everyone will be knowing that i had a HT and i was dumb at that moment. The surgery is over in around 6+ hrs, planted 2100 grafts and money was given back for the rest of the 100 grafts. Now its almost 7 months, i couldnt see any considerable growth on right hand side still...looks ok on left hand side.Even if i see considerable growth on right side, still i looks like a bald head person. I was amazed at couple of guys post op co pics and now i realized that i have done a big mistake by contacting Epstein.

Couple of guys now suggesting me 2 have HT (actually they dont know that i had a HT), you can understand based on this. I was so disappointed with the outcome...i m basically from india and its a huge amount for me.lot of guys in the forum suggeting us to wait 12 months for complete cover....my question is : even after 7 months..nothing has shown up on right hand side...if it is like that even after 12 months...i am the unlucky person on the earth...what to do? I had a HT with dr.Epstein on 08-18-2007 for around 2100 gratfs on the sides of the head.

I am able to see around 30 to 40 % growth on left side and aorund 15% growth on right hand side.I am taking propecia every other day.

Suggest me if this is not an expected result..

Around 2 months back I had a HT with one of the coalition members for about 2100 grafts.I am taking propecia for every other day and i am not using rogaine(i had a bitter experience with it). Just wanna share my experience with you all.

1. Basically i am from india and decided to have HT in USA though it is expensive.

2.I send a couple of picture to Dr(after lot of research) and he replied back by saying 2200 gratfs will help.

3. I was really shocked when i went there because he said that he will cover the middle part of the frontoral area and not sides of the head (he covered max 1 inch) and told me that everone will be knowing that i had a HT if he covers sides of the head.

4.I was quite convinced and cant do anything because i already paid.

5.Its almost 2 months, 0% growth but everyone in the forum says that it takes 3 to 5 months to start.(still hoping for the same)

6.I will be bald even it covers my forntoral middle area.

So guys i want to suggest one thing..please investigate and consult doctors personally and explain him what you are expecting and what he can do.My mistake is everything done via email.

it is perfectly normal for the grafts to fall out initally in the first month. it happens to almost everyone. usually in about 4 months you start seeing signs of growth.....

I too had my HT with Dr.Epstein on 18th of Aug(2100 grafts).I am 3 weeks post op co.Now i lost almost all Grafts(newly transplanted hair with root- people says shaft and this is normal). Now i am little bit scared of this situation.I dont know what to do if the grafts will not grow.May i know about your situation because you too had HT with same doctor where i had.Did your hair grafts also fallen down?Whats the situation abt your new hair.Eagerly waiting for your reply.

I had my HT on 07/18/2007 in Miami by Dr.Epstein.I went to miami all the way from Dallas.I am very much happy with the way he handled. I lost hair in the temple area.HT is done on the temple area.

My comments abt Dr.Epsteins work:

1.I am very happy with the procedure done by Dr.Epstien and his team.

2.My HT lasts for around 5 to 6 hrs.

3.No swelling on my face.

4.No redness.

5.Had a little bit pain in donor area on the first day and it is fine now.

6.No pain/No Bleeding either from the donor area or forntoral area.

7.Having very slight itchness.

8.Suggested me to take Propecia-1Mg, one pill for every other day.

9. Now i am washing my head (front and back) with warm water....no shampoo.

Just applying water to clean the scalp.They suggested me to do not rub/comb the scalp till one more week.

10.Now all the grafts are in proper position and everything is fine so far.

11.I am back to office today and working as usually.

Even i planned to go for HT with Dr.Shapiro.As per my knowledge, he has a great job for lot of ppl but he is charging around 5$ per graft.if u r coming from so far, he will charge 4.5$ per graft.It sound little bit expensive.As per my research Dr.Limmer - San Antonio is charging less.Let me know if you have any idea about graft rates of Dr.Espetien -FL.
