  1. Go ahead and schedule your appointment. Now that it has been sometime sinc ethe surgery I think I am quite happy with the results. The density isn't quite as high as I had hoped but i am planning on going back in June to get it touched up and to have a bit more work done. Overall, I think Dr. P did a good job.
  2. Thanks a lot guys! I appreciate the follow up questions everyone else is contributing as well. Cheers.
  3. Hi guys, I had my first HT about a year ago and am contemplating going for a second sometime soon. While investigating doctors and reading information, I always come across the terminology 'high density', but it is never articulated what exactly this means. Can someone tell me what the number of grafts/hairs per cm square is considered to be high density and the what is currently the highest density possible for doctors to perform. Thanks!
  4. Thanks dakota3! That's what I wanted to hear. As long as it looks good and my expectations aren't too high, I'm happy. I'm just not exactly sure what to expect at the 5 month marker. Cheers,
  5. What worked quite well for me was to take a warm bath (not too warm though) and emerse my head under water periodically. After I soaked my head and the scabs became softer, I would pat soap on the recipent area. The scabs then dissolved and fell off without any problems. I would do this 2-3 times a day. I wouldn't suggest picking at the scabs though. For me, that doesn't seem to be a good idea.
  6. I don't have any before photos with me but there was no hair in the recipient area. It was the frontal region at the top part of my forehead where I had the HT. It's difficult to tell in the photo but the area of concern is where the hair look thin and messy.
  7. About 5 months ago I had hair transplant surgery and I'm not sure about the progress of the recepient growth area. Attached you will find three photos of the growth to date. I am a bit concerned about the density at this time. My understanding was that there would be about 40 hairs per square cm and to date I would say there is about 20-25 hairs per square cm. Can you all please have a look at the attached photos and let me know what you think. After five months, I had expected more density and am a bit disappointed at this point in time. Is this growth rate normal or has something gone wrong?

  9. Thanks richie48. My girlfriend seems to think the growth is good, but I'm a bit dissapointed. I'm probably right where I should be go though. Maybe I'm becoming a bit impatient. Thanks,
  10. thanks spex! I was just checking out your blog sites and videos. Thanks for the reply!
  11. I am about 3.5-4 months post-op and I am not sure if my growth level is where it should be or, maybe my expectations are a bit high. I have looked through the photo galleries but am having a hard time finding a any that are close up enough that allow me to really see the growth level. Can someone please send me a few links that clearly show the transition of growth on a monthly basis. Thanks in advance,

  13. Hi there ... I had a ht done about 3.5 months ago in bangkok with dr. pathomvanich. I am happy at this point with the procedure so far. The next 2-3 months will allow me to better judge things though. I checked out dr. pong's website and it looks good. One piece of advice when having a ht in this region is to make sure the doctor only does ht's. Oftern dr's will have practices in cosmetic surgery and include ht rather than just focussing on just ht. Do your research and ask lots of questions. I also suggest you check out dr. pathomvanich's website. Additionally, where r u located NW5a? cheers,
