Well I finally got my proscar and I want to ease into it to avoid side effects, the plan is to take 0.25mg/day for the first month then 0.5mg/day for the rest of my life or if I don't get results I will try upping the dose. Anyway my question becomes wether anyone has dissolved proscar in ethanol and then drank it cause it is hard to cut this pill into 20 pieces. Thanks again to anyone who has any info.

Does anyone know how it really affects the body as far as muscle development goes. It would be a very big Negative if it reduced my muscle mass or made it much harder to gain muscle. Thanks for the help, this is very serious to me.

If i do try Finasteride I plan on buying proscar and cutting it into fours and taking a pill every second day which means 0.625mg/day How does this sound to you veteran users?????

I've been on Walmart brand minoxidil 5% now for about 11 months, I only use it for the the front of my head or the receeding hairling. I'm 25 and have had slight thinning of my hairline for about 3 years now. About two months ago I moved to a new city and started a new professional job, needless to say I'm super stressed out and I'm losing all the hair I have gained and maybe some more. Is this normal and will it come back once I settle in and relax a bit or do I have to start Finasteride (Propecia). I have resisted finasteride until now because I'm afraid of the side effects and I got very good results from Minoxidil 5%. Anyway, I would appreciate any insight from anybody who is familiar with this situation. Thanks

Thanks for the help. Ive also heard about a drug called duratestride or something like that, is there any reason to try anything else or is Proscar the best option for someone in my position. Thanks again for the help, its nice to have an educated opinion.
