  1. I wish my situation is only growing slowly.but i see the site all,i can not find a result more than 8 months like me. I would love to tell you something diefferent, but this sadly looks like permanent shockloss. I dont think, that even if you might be a slow grower you would look like this after 8 months. Did you send your pictures to your doc?? What was his reaction?? What did he say??
  2. I think its nearly impossible to judge a HT without any pre operation pics. Maybe ur expectations are too high. Maybe u needed more Grafts or maybe it just needs a bit more time. There are some that report about a second boost between month 8-12.
  3. This will be pretty difficult if there isnt a honey rigth at his door.....
  4. This is one of the best overall transformations I have seen so far. You must be very happy!!
  5. I have reinstalled windows on my computer and now I am not able to view the galleries. Do I have to install anything special???
  6. Rahal, IMO he is the best when it comes to hairlines, just check out some of Rahals patients weblogs.
  7. Hi Chantal, it was very nice meeting you. I am getting sleep, more than I expected. We all know the first night after surgery isnt too nice but from then on it was ok. I wish you all the very best regarding your progress and from what I saw I am sure you will get an amazing result.
  8. Hi M&M, I am feeling like a child right before christmas, even better. I am getting something back that I thought would never come back again. Incredible feeling..... And to be honest with you, the hairline looks so much better in reality than on the pics. Its really a piece of art. I think there is so much talent and experience involved in this kind of hairline work, we cant even imagine.....
  9. First of all thanks for ur nice comments. @ TC17 I will say it this way, my family history of hair loss isnt minimal but it isnt very aggressive either. It is somewehere in the middle. I am pretty convinced, that ur look is mostly determined through a framed face; so for me it was important to frame my face with the new hairline and I am willing to accept a sparse crown area when I am 45 or 50, if the worst case scenario should occur. I dont need to get this kind of hairline-density all over my head. I mean there is a kind of hair loss similar to what I have in mind. Men who start balding from the crown area, and that is excatly what I can live with, or lets better say I can live with that much easier than with a 9 cm forehead. I hope u can understand my point of view.
  10. Hello everybody, I always was a reader in this forum and now decided to give u some insight on my hairtransplant with the great Dr. Rahal and his amazing staff in Ottawa because this forum and especially the hair loss webblogs helped me so much to find my decision. I am from Germany so please excuse my poor english but I will do my best. I flew in from Germany, yeah 8 hours straight from Frankfurt to Ottawa. I still dont get it that there are people that have found this site and yet they come up with Doctors you have never heard of and considering these docs for such an interfering step like a hairtransplant. After I found this forum and recognized how many butchers are around in the field of hairtransplant, it was crystal clear to me that I will fly to the end of this freaking world to get hairtransplant done with the best doc there is. My hairloss started with about 19 and continued pretty slowly and now that I am 26 I had to deal with a receding hairline. Every morning it was a fight beetwen me and the guy in the mirror and it looked like I was losing this fight more and more frequently, so I decided to come up with a new strategy, a bigger weapon to win this battle once and for all. I decided to undergo hairtransplant and started my research which among other things brought me to this site. I was looking for a great hairline-specialist that could meet my expectations. After weeks of viewing and comparing pre- and postoperation pics, I decided that Dr.Rahal is the Doc I want to trust. His hairline results are absolutly stunning and I didnt want to compromise on anything. From then on everything went pretty fast. I did the onlineconsultation , booked a surgery date, booked my flight and hotel in Ottawa and was ready to go. At this point I have to thank Adrian, such a nice, friendly and helpful guy who answered all my 1.7 billion questions and helped me wherever he could. Thx Adrian...... I arrived at Ottawa on the 3rd of May and stayed like most of the Rahal-patients at the Adams Airport Inn. They are used to Rahal-Patients and dont stare at you when u are running around with the surgery-hat on. The next guy that helps wehrever he can is Moe the Rahal-taxidriver. Man what a great guy, so many nice conversations and he came up with many nice ideas regarding my lunch and dinner .Thx Moe.... I enderwent surgery on the 4th of May 2009 and got 2690 Grafts placed in my hairline and behind it. Pictures are attached so that everyone in this forum can forge his own opinion (I might even start a blog, lets see). Surgery went very smooth after the freezing was done and Dr.Rahal and his (I dont know approximatly 10 assistants) took very very well care of me. Thanks to all this nice ladies that made me really feel at ease throughout the whole surgery. And obviously a big big THANKS to Dr.Rahal. I dont think I have to say anything about him and his work, because me flying across the world to get this surgery done with him says everything. THX Doc........ Thx for reading guys and excuse my poor english..... I will try to keep you guys updated take care.............
