  3. Hello to all my friends, I would like to apologize for not updating you all, busy as well as lazy. Yes the second transplant went very well and had around 1700 grafts in the crown area. So a total of 3700 grafts (1700 in the front and 2000 in the crown). I am happy with the results so far but still thin. I think another 4000 would restore my hair very well but my family is not allowing me for any more surgery. Guys, I will post my pictures in another 1 - 2 days, you have to wait for it. Recently started using nanogen only for crown and amazing results and just now ordered dermmatch. I would also like to comment that anyone with norwood 5A would need 7000 - 8000 grafts to get a normal and good look. Even if I go in for another 4000 grafts, I would go for FUE and that is going to cost Rs.75 ($1.5) compared to Rs.25 for FUHT. But I also noticed one thing that can improve your hair growth. Get up early in the morning, take bath and stand in front of the sun for 5 min to 10 min or any open space where morning sun rays falls directly on your scalp. Keep in mind that sun rays are cool and warmer in the morning compared to any other time and it is quite usefull. Then once you hair is dry, apply minoxidil 5% and let that dry under a fan. Apply mintop 5% again once in the night, atleast 2 hours before you go to bed so that it can dry properly. Try this for 1 week and you will notice the difference. But it is essential that you apply mintop twice daily and no late nights. Wake up early in the morning 6 - 6:30 and go for walk. I did this before going for my first hair transplant and it improved my hair growth very nicely. But my job demands me working in night shifts and that is kind of affecting my health as well as my hair growth. So searching for a new morning job and so that I can follow my own routiene that I have told you guys. Try it, you have nothing to lose, but only to gain from it. ================================================================= (promotional information removed) This was not a promotional info. May be I should have created a separate thread for it as I think it was conflicting information about two doctors in India. So no issues, lets forget about it. I have sent an explanation to the moderator who deleted it. ok guys, you can read the rest of the post. ================================================================= guys, one more question, will there ever be a treatment for hair growth.
  4. Hello All, I would like to know which one is better - 1.toppik or 2.dermmatch Well I don't get dermmatch here in india and toppik is available. Regards, bbuntyb
  5. Hey Guys, abby and Bill, How are you all? Sorry for not posting my lastest pics. I am attaching a pic of mine taken from the front 7 months post op (1700 grafts in the front and 300 grafts in the crown from the first hair transplant) . I have requested the doctor for additional photos that were taken before and after 2nd hair transplant and I will post them asap. bye bunty
  6. Hi Wylie, Thanks for your reply. It has been 8 months since my first hair transplant, and this time i am going in for the crown area. Also, I dont have any medical conditions and i am pefectly alright. The doctor does not uses any gas or sedation and used only local anaesthesia. I was awake all during the procedure and was listening to music. All i am afraid is of is local anaesthesia. thats it. Regards, Bunty
  7. After rereading this, I think you were bullsh*tting me the first time. I did have my first hair transplant in apr 2007. You can check the link at http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/showthread.php?t=144471 .
  8. Hello Guys, I had my my first hair transplant in april 2007 and the next one has been planned for dec 2007. After reading this article, I am scared whether I should have my next hair transplant. Please do advice on this. Regards, Bunty
  9. Hello Guys, I have decided to go in for my 2nd hair transplant. I had my first one before 8 months. Can someone advice me on what should the ideal gap be between the first and second hair transplant and I am just too scared of the local anaesthesia. Regards, Bunty
  10. Hi nobuzz, thank you for your reply, but i did not understand the following point that you have mentioned..... "* Anethesia - not necessary to have but some offer it and some do it. Stay on a local and do not be put under to be safe." Regards, Bunty
  11. Hi Guys, It has been 8 months post-op and I am planning for my 2nd hair transplant next week for the crown area. So far, i am happy with the results. I got a question that may sound stupid even after having my hair transplant : is there is any risk associated with the surgery, like life threatening issues. Bye Bunty
  12. Hi Bill, Thanks for replying so fast. Yes, Dr.Bishen is from india and all the grafts were transplanted by himself. Regarding the area, if you would zoom into the picture where the hair line is drawn, you would see that the whole frontal area was shaved off. The doctor adviced me to keep the frontal area and work on the sides. But I did not go for it and asked him to clear it up and transplant on the whole frontal area so that my hair can look uniform and asked him to transplant the left over graft in the back. Recently I asked my doctor for advice if I need additional grafts in the front and all he said me was to wait for atleast 1 year for full results of the transplant and then plan if I need more grafts. Anyways I need one more hair transplant to cover my back area. Also, I would advice to all the friends that if they are considering for a hair transplant, then please select a good doctor and get it done as soon as possible, because it takes 2 years to get full result taking in consideration if you go for another round of hair transplant. and indeed HAIR TRANSPLANT DOES WORKS. Regards, Bunty
  13. Hi Flac, I received in total around 2000 grafts with 1650 in the front and 350 in the back. I got it done on april 13th 2007 from Dr.Bishen Mahadevia. You guys can review his website at (link removed). As of what I have seen in the forum regarding Dr.Rajput, I am glad and happy that i chose the right doctor. The post-op pics posted by Dr.Rajput are the worst that I have seen on the internet and this forum. Please review my immediate post-op pics and please let me know if the work done by Dr.Bishen Mahadevia is upto the industry standards. Thank you all the guys who have viewed my thread and a double thank you to the guys who have posted comments. Regards, Bunty
