  1. I just wanted to let everyone know my experience with Dr. Gregory Pistone in Southern New Jersey. First off, he is a very nice personable man. I also think he is fair and honest. Excuse my ignorance but, i really do not know what category I fell in regarding hair loss. I just know I was 42 yrs old and did not like what I looked like. I was losing alot in the front hairline. Anyhow, I first went to doc for a consultant and right off he did not try to sell me or force me into anything. He kind of left it to me. I was losing, but not all gone in the front. He gave me a list of patients and their contact info about 5 pages long. I felt a little uncomfortable cold calling someone but, one of his patients agreed through Dr Pistone to meet me at his office, which was very nice. I met the gentleman and was impressed with his hair. He received three procedures with I think around 3,000 grafts. He was 57 years old and did look younger. So, I agreed to have my first procedure done in January 2004 with around 1,400 grafts. I saw much improvement about one year post op. The transplanted hair looked great and my hairline was fantastic, no one ever noticed. But, then I started to lose a little more hair. Plus, I knew from the beginning I was going for at least two procedures. So, I had another transplant done in March 2006 with another 1,600 grafts. Now, in 2008 at 46 years old, I do look alot better. I went for my picture license this week. I had to bring my old picture license from 2004 with me. Well, you can definitely tell the difference between the 2004 and 2008 picture licenses. It was the same haircut but, now in 2008, I had a fuller look and better head of hair. I am very satisfied with Dr Pistone. As a matter of fact when I went back to him, he told me I looked great and did not need anymore work. I did mention at the post op followup a year later that I wanted to get another procedure for more density but, he told me I was great as I am now. So, I just like the honesty and also the down to earth personality of him. He truly does care for his work and truly does care for the people he works on. I don't know what happened with the one guy who had problems but, I have heard and experienced nothing but good from Dr. Pistone. Frank M.

  3. I had HT with Dr. Pistone in March 2004. I received 1,400 grafts. I was very thin in front. Anyhow, it was painless and after 1 1/2 it filled in very well. I am actually going back for a second procedure for more density. At my annual visit, Dr. Pistone told me a did not need another procedure. He said I looked fine. But, I do want more density. He actually is an honest person who truly loves his work and helping others. I think his opinions are honest and making money is really not what he is in this business. Check out his website and you will see results.
