  1. I don't want to go back on proscar because of the erection problems. I have heard about a natural remedy: apple cider vinegar. A hairdresser told me a few years ago that it is a natural cure to baldness, know anything about this?
  2. I didn't mean to post that link, even though it is a cool video if you want to watch. This is the link. http://prostate.emedtv.com/proscar/proscar-sexual-side-effects.html
  3. I took proscar for a while and started to lose my erection during sex. I am not sure if this actually due to the drug or because I know that this side effect is possible and is in the back of my head. My friend who took it experienced the same thing. I just looked at this website and it said that 18.5% of men experience impotence. http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=LlF8APEkh-E What do you guys think?

  5. I went to costco today to get some more proscar and the price for 30 tablets went up to $88....I was there in mid-april and it was only $33....is there an explanation for this? If this is the case, would it just be cheaper to get propecia instead of getting proscar and cutting it into fourths?
  6. I currently have very little hairloss, not very noticeable at all in fact. However, I am currently using Revita, Minox, and Proscar. The reason I started using them all in the first place was because I noticed some hair loss and the Hair Club microscopic camera confirmed it. I have heard that Revita and Minox are weak, plus Minox is just regrowth formula. I feel that I am satisfied with my current amount of hair and don't need to regrow any through the Minox. So my question is, can I just use the Proscar only to prevent further hairloss since I feel I don't need to regrow any, or do I need to continue staying on all 3?

  8. My buddy told me that he only uses the minox after the shower and said that if not it is pointless because it doesn't go into your pores...is this true?

  10. The dermatologist also recommended the Hairmax lasercomb and said it does work. Does anyone think this is better than the minox, finasteride, revita combination?
  11. I just went to the dermatologist and got my Proscar prescription. She told me that Wal-Mart, Costco, and BJ's pharmacies would probably be the cheapest places to buy it. She said the Canadian online pharmacies would probably be cheaper. Does anyone know about these, what websites they are, and if it is legal? Also, I still am worried about my family jewels...not being able to get it up...

  13. It is recommended that you wait until your hair is completely dry until you put on the minox. I often find that I don't have time to wait around until my hair is completely dry to do this. Does it still work if you put it on when your hair is damp, or even wet?

  15. I just got my Revita...should I use conditioner afterwards and if so can anyone recommend a good one? Also, I am using kirkland minoxodil twice a day in addition to the Revita. Is using hair gel or wax bad for MPB? Finally, what is the best method to use Revita. Right now I just lather it in my hair and keep it in there for about 5 minutes then wash it out. Any advice is always appreciated.

  17. I am assuming I need to make an appointment with a regular doctor or dermatologist. Or can I get it somewhere on the internet? Also, will a regular doctor or dermatologist not prescribe it to me because proscar's main use is not for hair loss?
  18. So is this the best 3 combination options to use for MPB? I am 20 years old and am just starting to lose a little bit of my hair, I am definitely in stage 1. Is the combination of these 3 that effective to not losing hair, that I should commit myself now to being on these for the rest of my life? Or should I just take the approach of accepting losing my hair and not spending money for these the rest of my life?
  19. I was about ready to get Proscar but then read many testimonials about how guys could not get erections anymore and did not enjoy sex. I do not want to get this if this is true. I will just stick to Revita and Rogaine foam. Any thoughts?

  22. Today I got a free hair consultation with the Hair Club. They did a microscopic scalp analysis and showed me on screen that I am starting male pattern baldness and am beginning to lose my hair. I don't want or need surgery, I just want to maintain my current hair. So they told me that have a 5 step process that includes 1)In the Shower- Moisturizing or Revitalizing Cleanser Shampoo 2)In the Shower-Enzyme Scalp Cleanser 3)In the Shower-Energizing Conditioner 4)Out of the Shower-Hair Revitalizing Complex Vitamins 5)Minoxidil (which is Rogaine basically) I asked the lady giving the consultation why not just use Rogaine, and she said that just using Rogaine is like trying to plant seeds without harvesting the soil, that you need to do this in order for it to be effective. She also said Propecia is effective as a hair loss stopper, but really effects men's libidos. The cost of this is $1800 for the first 6 months, so my question is, do you think that this is all just hocus pocus and they are ripping me off? Do you think I just should get Rogaine and save tons of money? Any advice would be welcome!
