Your Hair Loss Story
I had 25 hair transplant surgeries from 1989 to 1994. I ended up with many rows of strip scars even though I paid $150 per HT session for a guarantee of no scars and double the amount of hair in the donor area, so I could never run out of donor hair. After 23 surgeries I found out the "Dr." was not actually a Dr. and went somewhere else for the last 2 surgeries where they didn't do much at all because I didn't have any donor area left. They basically just redistributed some grafts to try to get a more even look.
After a lot of years of looking like a freak, I'm now interested in maybe doing some body hair transplants to hide some scars and get a little more density in certain, strategic areas to give a more full look. However I'm very reluctant to actually go through with it after what I've already been through. What if it turns out worse than it is. I mean it's never gotten better after all the surgeries before, so why would it now? After the first 3 or 4 surgeries it just kept getting worse and worse. I don't want to go back to wanting to kill myself and hiding from the world.
