  1. Alot of the top Drs. offer financing. Don't take a gamble with this procedure in a third world country. If you get butchered, it will cost you a whole hell of alot more to get repaired, then if you were to have it done right the first time. You get what you pay for, and if your cheap about it, you will surely regret it. Mr. Hair
  2. I just read that today!!! Kerry seems like a good guy. Plus he snowboards. He's got my vote. Mr. Hair
  3. Dr. Rassman and Dr. Bernstein are the founders of NHI. And yes, they do take the strip with you sitting up. Mr. Hair
  4. Quote "'Hairlosshelp' has a very active forum, probably the buisiest there is." I agree, hairlosshelp.com is very good. You'll see alot of poster here that post there as well. I personally don't go there much, because whatever news is posted there gets pasted on to this site as well. Quote "There is also 'Hairsite' but it's mainly for dreamers waiting for hair multiplication." Hahaha, thats funny, because thats exactly the way it is on that site. Mr. Hair
  5. Hey figsy, do your co-workers know you had a HT? If not, did they ask you why you'd be on such a site? What did you say? Mr. Hair
  6. Special Happy New Year, and Thank you to Pat for creating this great place. Keep up the good work! Mr. Hair
  7. I smell the foul stench of the industry in Tech. I think he's a mole inserted by MHR. We'll know for sure if he follows up on the questioning about him. Tech, if you are an industry Mole, you have no place here. Your not welcome in our community. Good job trying to smoke him out Paul148. Mr. Hair
  8. I totally agree with Vocor. I don't think the guy is a plant. Who would he be a plant for? I don't know if you other guys (dandres, jacobs, nw) ever had bad work done, but when I did it threw me into depression for over a year and a half. I can sympathize with Mahair because I've been there. Maybe not as depressed as he seems, but certainly very depressed. He just need to pick himself up, dust himself off, and figure out a plan of action. Mr. Hair
  9. Mahair I truly feel for you man, but you have to snap out of it. There are a lot of us on this site that are in the same boat as you. If you've seen my pics you'd notice that I to have a grafty looking hairline, but I'm doing something about it. I'm moving on and getting repair work done. Dude you just can't let your life slip away. Ok, you F'd up, so now what are you going to do? Put a plan into action. You've been on this board long enough to have a good idea on what your options are. Pick an option and get going on it. I've read your posts where you've mentioned your kids. If anything that should be your biggest reason for getting yourself back in gear. Now we'll be starting a new year. What I suggest is first seeing a doctor about getting on some anti depressants. Then get in contact with a few of the top ht doctors and see what they have to say. Ending your life is not the answer. Not for you or your kids. Good luck, and remember your not alone in this. There are plenty of us here who have gotten butcher. Some worse then others, and I'm sure some worse then you. Good luck man, and keep your head up. Mr. Hair
  10. Mahair, I've read a few of your posts, and am truly sorry that you had bad work done. I like you was a norwood 2 and had mini and micro grafts done. I was fortunate that the Dr. placed the grafts behind my hairline, but I knew the work wasn't good. The next day after the procedure was done I had my bandages removed, and I could see the rows of grafts he put in. I knew that the day would come when my original hair fell out and exposed these grafts. It put me in a state of depression for a year and a half like I've never felt before. Even today, I'd rather be slick bald, BABIES ASS BALD, then to have the grafty look I have now. Anyway, I have 3 questions for you. First, how old were you when you had the procedure done? Will you be going anywhere to have repair work done? And if so, where? And finally, where did you come up with the screen name Mahair? Mr. Hair
  11. The pattern of hairloss his has is more typical in women.
  12. Yeah you definitely want to get on Propecia asap. As far as it not growing in the temples, I wouldn't say thats necessarily always the case. I had fair growth in the hairline, and temple area from propecia. I mean it didn't all grow back, and what did grow didn't grow more the a quarter of an inch, but it was enough to fill in some weak spots and give my hair a nicer, denser appearance. Do yourself a favor and forget about transplants til your at least 30+. Your not at the right age for it. If you did it now, then you'd be chasing your hairloss for years and years to come with more procedures. Mr. Hair
  13. Here's a shot with some better lighting. I also forgot to mention that he extract a 6 hair graft from my hairline. And I received 827 FU's.
  14. Hi baldboy, My first transplant I also notice holes, and pitting. I even had one right in the front of my hairline that looked like a donut hole. Kinda like a sucked in hole. And my Doc at the time said that he transplants FU's. Soon after the procedure it was obvious that they were not FU, they were mini, and micro grafts. These scum bag doctors play with words a lot. When I had ask my doctor at lenght about an all follicular unit transplant. He said "yes, he does an all follicular unit transplant." Technically when their transplanting mini's and micro's, they are transplanting follicular units, and that's where they probably got you. From what your describing, and the fact that you went to MHR, I would say you got mini's, and micro's. But don't panic! I personally about 2 days after my first transplant plucked out the donut hole graft, as well as a few others that just didn't look right. The rest of them did grow in ok, and it did give me good density. But the hairline did look pluggy, and hence I just had my second hair transplant 6 days ago with Dr. Bernstein to soften up my hairline. In your first post you said that "MHR said they use a fine needle, but how could you tell." Didn't you see the instruments they used on you? With Dr. B he uses a 19 guage needle, and I saw it plunger and all when he was making the recipient sites. It's only been 6 days (a week tomorrow morning 3/17) since the procedure and there are NO signs of pitting. In fact just a few more scabs need to fall off, and I'd say I'm healed. I'm adding 2 pics so you can see the quality of work done. At this point I'm pretty amazed. It took me over a month and a half from my first procedure to heal to the point I'm at now only 6 days after my procedure with Dr. B. Also, the donor area feels fine. After my first transplant, my donor area stayed numb for close to a year. Anyway, my advise to you is not to panic. See how things come out. Then if need be, go to one of the top doc's to patch things up. Good Luck Mr. Hair
