  1. Holy moly...what kind of drugs were you on that caused such horrific side effects?
  2. Rock On! Let me know if you have any troubles with Hair Force One...I have a 34 footer parked in the back yard.
  3. Refering to my previous log, How about visiting Dr. Gabel with Northwest Surgical Hair Restoration? Portland has to be on your route back!
  4. Ohhh please include a clinic in Portland. I live so close and would love to find a good physician in the area. Good luck with the RV.
  5. Oh...also don't be embarrased how you look right after the procedure. That's the best thing about traveling to have it done...you don't know ANYBODY...and you'll never see anyone who may give you funny looks again.
  6. Don't forget a travel pillow if you are staying overnight after the procedure. The kind like you see for sale in airports. They make sleeping upright much easier and your recipient area will stay off the pillows!
  7. Thanks for the info...I'm 10 days post-op and have a bottle of Rogaine on my shelf. How soon after surgery did he tell you to start using the Rogaine?
  8. Is it ok to use hydrocortisone to stop the itching (7 days post ht). Scar or recipient area?
  9. Is it ok to use hydrocortisone to stop the itching (7 days post ht). Scar or recipient area?
  10. He didn't say anything about the scar location. I just assumed it was low to leave room for further donor area for future procedures. He did tell me I would probably want at least two more. The hairline actually isn't really straight. It has crooked "in and out" areas. He told me this is to make it more natural looking since no hairlines are a perfect line. I'm using vitamin e on the scar now hoping it will help it heal nice and unnoticable.
  11. Here is the view of the scar from the back. Any suggestions on over the counter products to help the scar heal well and keep it from becoming big and ugly?
  12. What a good intuitive response. Pre HT I was pretty much George Castanza (Seinfeld) on the scale at 6. Here is my post image from the top/front.
  13. Anyway, I had a HT (2300 grafts) with him last week...before I found this forum, so I was hoping I wouldn't find out anything bad or any horror stories with this particular doctor. I hadn't found anything negative in research prior to my surgery.
  14. Yea, this guy named Seth documented his whole process with Bosley. Lots of videos and pictures...I think they might have done it for free in return for his free advertising...anyway, here is the you tube link: http://www.youtube.com/user/BattleAgainstBald
  15. Sorry, I probably should have posted this thread under experiences and surgeons.
