  1. Dear All, Have any of you considered or, indeed used dermal abrasion such as acid peals or 'sand blasting' on hair transplant wounds like recipiant slits, cobblestoning, ridging etc? Would these methods be of any benifit in removing some of the micro graft era's abnormalitys? I ask as I have a mirograft hariline which is white (Frbrotic scaring?) and a litte rasied with vissable slits, might I be best getting this smoothed out before I get it re-planted? With thanks NV

  8. Can any Dr's patenets out there tell me if transection of hair follicles in the donor site of scared patent is less than that of a 'virgin' scalp? I I figure that if the donor site of the second ht is created by cutting along one side of the scar from the first ht then transection should, theoreticaly be hlved as there are no follicles to transect in the scar tissue? But this assumes that the donor scar can form one side of the new donor site. Is this normal? what is common practace on creating a second donor area when the patent already has a linier scar? NV

  10. Dear All, Any coments from peole who have had a second srtip removed from their donor regon? Any common exprences? During my last (Very poor) HT I had my grafts harvested with the multi bladed knife, which was uncomfortable and has left my donor regon feeling a little tight. Can any other double transplant patients tell me how strip compares to multi blade?

Either way, they look profesional, and seem quite open about you seeing procidures etc, they offerd to arange for me to go to Greece to see an oppearation. I dont think they would do that if they were as bad as was described earlyer? Please write back tinf and let us know a bit more about when and who did your transpalnt. NV
  13. Hi there, I posted on the 'contact me' window of a ht surgons web page and Farjo contacted me. I had set a bid around ??2500 from what I recall. My main resivation is, like you I have no thrird party to vouch for them, and the only claim to do micrografts rather than fu's. NV

  15. Thanks for that Arfy, As you say, if some good can come from a pretty depresing situation, it goes some way to making things better. Thanks for your support. Do you or anyone else have any recomendations, for hair surgons who are good at smoothing out micro / mini grafts? Are there any outside of the USA? Nobelvictim
