Does anyone know the cheapest place to purchase Propecia? It's $180 for a 4 month supply from my doctor.

  3. Yes you should be applying something to your scar. You actually should have been applying neosporin to your donor scar all along. But by all means, start using either neosporin or Mederma or, as I did, buy an aloe vera plant and slit it open and get the juice out of it and apply it to the scar. The Indians used aloe vera many years ago for cuts and scars. It seems to help with the itching.
  4. I too am a patient of Joe Greco. In October, 2000, I was a class 7 on the Norwood Scale. My self esteem was depleted. It bothered me tremendously for people to call me 'baldie' or make remarks about my lack of hair. I mean, it wasn't that I chose not to have hair. But I decided to do something about it and I called Pat, the creator of this site. His story convinced me to go through with the procedure. I have had 3 sessions, my latest one was March 14, 2002. It has actually changed the way I feel about myself. Before, I wouldn't even look at myself in the mirror. Now, after about 4500+ grafts, I am a new person. I don't hesitate to look in the mirror, or strike up a conversation with a lady. I hated not having hair, but my life is different now. I would highly recommend a HT, after doing your research, of course.
  5. I would recommend going to Summit Hair in Clearwater, FL (Tampa). I flew there 3 times and had Joe Greco do my work. No swelling, pleasant experience, undetectable work. Best choice I ever made.
  6. You might try dropping the androcur and spironolactone and just use the Rogaine by itself. I don't know, but using all three seem to be quite a bit to use on the scalp. Maybe one conteracts what the other is supposed to do. Just a thought. Check with your doctor.
  7. I am not so sure that Monty is correct saying that women are not considered cantidates for hair transplants. I have seen women that have come through the hair clinic that I used and they looked great afterwards. You would be surprised at some of the celebrity women who have had a session or two.
  8. I did not have this problem (folliculitis), but I was instructed to apply moist warm soaks and antibiotic ointment to the areas 3 times a day and notify my doctor so he can prescribe specific medication for this problem if it did occur. 9. I am also a patient of Joe Greco in Clearwater. I had my first session 16 month ago and the second session 10 months ago. I am planning a third session in April. I was well pleased with my experience. I would highly recommend Greco. John
  10. My response is aimed at Mario and Mike. They seem to be casting stones at Joe Greco. I wonder if they have ever sat in on a procedure by Joe. I have had 2 sessions with him and couldn't be happier. I will be going for a third early next year. It's really sad that these two would try to discredit the skill Joe has. My hair transplant is undetectable! It would be hard for me to imagine that anyone else could do the quality of work that Joe did on me. Pat, if you're reading this, I would be glad to show my 'before and after' pictures.
