I'm just wondering if hair transplant surgery can restore the appearance of a full head of hair to someone who was completely bald on top. I have heard that even with a good amount of donor hair available in the back, hair restoration surgery still cannot restore a full head of hair and the scalp would still be visible.

You should see a tricologist (a specialist in scap care) asap. It is normal to loose approx 100 hairs a day. Unfortuently there arent really any remedies.. u need to see the specialist and take it from there.. hair loss can be related to stress as well.. if thats the case it will grow back. Best of luck =)

Theoretically it works similar to Propecia only better as Propecia blocks one form of DHT and dutasteride blocks BOTH forms of DHT.

My advice would be to try testosterone replacement therapy. If you can afford it, complete hormone replacement therapy (including HGH). My feeling is that the added testosterone may help his libido while the proscar/avodart keeps the DHT from affecting his prostate...

Aussie makes a new shampoo that is a miracle for this dilema and it's cheap too!! It's called cleanse and mend. You can get it anywhere. But, i tried the conditioner that goes with it and it sucks and made my hair feel a little waxy. So stick with a good conditioner you like.

Bald is attractive because it means that the man is broad minded and talented. Bald is also clean to look at. I think that if you feel good, you look good, and you exude confidence which is very sexy. This is why you are attracting women, because you feel good about yourself and as you mature, you have a better sense of what is important in life and are not boring like immature boys who never grow up. A friend of mine told me the other day that applying hair-gel to your hair may cause hair-loss. Is it true? Also, he said that oiling your hair immediately after taking a bath causes dandruff in the hair. Is it correct or a myth?

Only way to combat this is lots of water ... maybe keep a bottle of water beside your bed at night. Just rest assured this is a to be expected side effect and nothing to worry about. Annd one you can live with if the drug actually works, right?

YES you can take it every other day. You SHOULD take it every other day. Fin stays in the bloodstream and keeps DHT lowered for 48 hours before it begins to rise appreciably again. Taking it every day would be a waste of money.
