  1. Bluesman`s comment sums up this feeble attempt at titillation.
  2. If you feel short changed, ask your Doctor to provide the charts showing how many grafts were planted, and in which regions. If you feel they are less than what you bargained for its very likely true.
  3. Compare this to Jotronics scabs (which were gone in 6 days). If you had this done at IHLT San Diego its going to take 20 days. The work is just crude in that regard.
  4. Please count what you got. Please get it in writing from her how much was grafted, where and what density.Get it in writing.
  5. 2 things: The stated number of grafts will most likely exceed by 70% what you actually receive. I got 700 instead of 2300. Surgery lasted barely 4 hours. The density will not exceed 3-5 hair per cm sq. Other than that ....
  6. Does anyone know what kind of work this outfit does? I cannot count even 1/3 of the 2216 grafts they charged me for. My densest square cm after 3 months is 6 hair. Is it too early to tell or have I been duped.

  8. Hello Jim, I recall receiving excellent information from you. I am at 55 days post 2200 grafts. At least 15 percent never fell out,and are up to 3/4 inch, 20 percent have sprouted. And there is the odd pimple appearing on the scalp. and for the rest I guess just have to wait for the 4 month mark. As I did the paretial humps too,(Elvis temples!) I would really like to know your progess. Thanks, Bob.
  9. This is the most compelling presentation of a situation where stated intent and eventual outcome are not coincident. I felt exactly the same way after my 2200 graft 3hour! procedure this Jan 3rd. The scabs were huge and stubborn-lasted 25 days and even then took a lot of rubbing to come off. I could not for the life of me count more than 700 grafts. I was told to wait 6 months to realise results. However the VICTIM has done such a fabulous job presenting his plight that I now know what I am in for. Truly grateful to the VICTIM for having the courage of his convictions, and bringing so clearly to light what many suffer in silent and impotent frustration. Jotronic`s first and second HT so clearly show what a top of the line HT looks like. It contrasts clearly with what people like the VICTIM and myself land up with. Ultimately we are guilty of a lack of due diligence.
  10. Jim, Your response addressed my concerns completely. Thanks so much for taking the time and sharing your own experience. Bob.
  11. Jrp65, Thanks so much for the input on scabs. I called my Doc and apart from being surprised and implying I must have done something wrong,I did not get much out of the Doc. I was asked then to drive to the clinic 120 miles away, which is not my idea of fun. But could you please expand on what you meant by late stage bleeding being not good. What are the implications? Thanks, Bob.
  12. The reasoning I was given was that the blood vessels are too close to transplant in the temple area, but this was ostensibly remedied by saline injection. The swelling lifted the graft area clear of the blood vessels.
  13. Emboldened by a post that micro grafts at 13 days old should allow for scabs to come off; I showered and gently massaged the graft area. Some scabs did come off, however three left some spot bleeding- not a steady stream just a spot of blood. Does this mean these grafts are compromised?

  15. Wanted to thank Dr.Feller, for affording the first real information on how exactly the scabs progress, especially the ones with hair attached. I had my HT at Natural Hair Transplant Center in San Diego 3rd of this month. At 13 days 90 percent of the scabs are stubbornly there and this despite use of olive oil to ostensibly soften them.(per Doc). I had 2200 grafts done with front and temporal hairlines moved to decrease the exposed forehead. I wanted to know if there are other Surgeons who perform temple peak HT. I feel that these have a massive effect in improving the hairline. I would really appreciate your advice and input. [This message was edited by Bob Jansen on January 15, 2003 at 05:33 PM.]
