I had looked into Cotterill because i live in Toronto but i wasn't impressed with his results at all... I my opinion, if you live in Canada, your best choices are Dr. Rahal or Dr. Hasson and Wong...

I had my HT done with Rahal about 4 months ago and its starting to grow now...not sure if this is early or not...the sooner the better!

hey jbkg, i had my HT with Dr. Rahal on April 14, 2009... He is an excellent surgeon so you will be in good hands... I stayed at Adams airport Inn because it is a small quiet hotel and no one will see you plus the staff there are all familiar with Dr. Rahal patients so no need to worry... Weather in Ottawa in July is usually at around 25 celsius, so should be pretty nice... Dr. Rahal will give you dinner the day of your surgery to take back to the hotel with you so you don't need to leave the room... Also, take a baseball cap with you so you can wear after Dr. Rahal takes the surgical hat off...You can't even notice you had a HT if you wear the cap... hope this answers your questions...

Hi guys, I've been reading the posts on this site for almost a year now and it really helped me decide which doctor to use for my HT so i decided it was time to post and give something back... I'm currently 38 years old and started losing my hair when i was 30... Both my hairline and crown area were thinning out so i decided to get a FUT with Dr. Rahal. I'm located in Toronto, so Ottawa was a short drive for me plus i liked the results of Dr. Rahal's dense hairlines... When researching HT doctors i looked at 4 facotrs that were improtant to me: 1. Results/Performance 2. Affordability/Cost 3. Location 4. Doctor Ethic I had also looked into the following doctors: Dr. Paul Cotterill - Located in Toronto but the results weren't there... Dr. Hassan & Wong - Performance looks good but I'm located in Toronto so didn't want to fly to Vancouver Dr. Alvi Armani - Too many unknowns, possbile ethical issue... I picked Dr. Rahal becuase he fit all 4 of these criteria for me personally... Dr. Rahal had me intially scheduled for 4000 grafts to give me a dense hairline and cover my crown area...He was able to extract 5044 grafts...He said i had good laxity... We started at 6:30 AM and 12 hours later, we were done... Dr. Rahal is very professional and a super nice guy and his team made me feel comfortable and relaxed... I must have sent Adrian like a hundred emails and he got back to me right away on all of them... All in all, a very comfortable day...didn't really feel anything and i got to watch 4 movies! Here are my numbers: 5044 Total Grafts 779 Singles 3088 Doubles 1174 Triples 3 Quads 10,489 Total Hairs I will post my pics in a weblog shortly... Thanks Dr. Rahal, Adrian, and team!
