I am looking for help and info about tissue expansion to remove a 1cm strip scar. I am looking for anyone that has had this done to help me find the doc to perform this on me. Can tissue expansion be used on scars that were caused because they were to low? Can TE be placed on the back of neck below the scar to loosen the skin up? What kind of Dr. am I looking for to do this?

I was told I have plenty of donor hair left enough to do 3more 1200gfts from previous Dr. I sent Dr. Wong photos and he did not seem to think the scar is going to be a problem. I still have allot of my original hair.

I have had 4 previous HTS about 1000 minis and about 1500 FUTs. I have been looking for new Dr because of scaring left by previous one. Questions. 1.I live in NY and was wondering is it worth it to go all the way to vancuver or can I get the same level of work done much closer? 2.I have bad scarring on right side of about 5mm to 1cm wide. It was recommend in my consult with HW to 3700 FUs and remove scar. This seems dangerous and impossible. Oppinions? 3. Previous Dr strongly advises against doing all FUT becaus of micro scarring as he put it in recipiant area from mini work. Oppinions? 4. Previous Dr also stressed that major shock loss would occur from large dense packing session. Oppinions? 5. Can a large sessions of this size be done with out jepordizing exisiting grafts?

I have emailed Jotronics. He has not got back to me yet. He problably gets a thousand email a day from people.

Hairworthy, My message was simply to put my experiance out their and how it has effected my life. I would not say I was disfigured although some might say I am. My appearence is not as bad as some I have seen but it looks bad to me and as everyone here likes to say that is all that matters I will say that I have a 1cm scar across my head which I was told was going to be pencil line thin. I will say that I was told all I needed was three HTS maybe a fourth, now I am told I will need one more later on. I will say that My HT is not virtually undetectalbe as I was told it would be. I have seen Jotronic's pics and from what I know his cas is extreamly atypical most can not expect his results. What does his scar look like? I also have contacted 4 doctors from this site and only one to date has bothered to get back to me. Lastly I am not complaining or looking for you to feel sorry for me. This is just my buyer be ware warning to anyone who is considering a HT. Thank you for your advise and your right life is to short.

some one who just woke up to the reality that their is not enough hair on the back of two heads to give a norwood 5 and up a presentable HT.

Yea it was worth it if you like to have a large scar across the back of your head. Yea it was worth it if you like to have your head look like straw stretched across a barrel. Yea it was worth it if you want to wear a hat all the time because of embarasment. Yea it was worth it if you dont want to look at yourself in the mirror any more. Yea it was worth it if you take out your unhappines on your family. Yea it was worth it if you like to be depressed. Yea it was worth it if your one of the few that might actual look like the photos your shown before your first surgery. Yea it was worth it if you have about 30,000 dollars to have it done then have it fixed. Yea it was worth it.

what ever happened? Did you sue?
