Any thoughts on Fincar, made by co. called Cipla in India. comes in 5mg pills to cut into 1/4s or 1/5s. is this the same as proscar, which is finisteride? DrugsRus.com sells it . can it be trusted?

I recently was given a perscription for propecia. My question is Proscar just as effective? does it have any side effects? It seems more cost effective, why don't the docs recommend it instead of propecia?

Im curious if anyone has experience with Dr Phillips at Bosley in Boston? also is it regular practice to shave your existing hair or cut it very short before the procedure? Obviously this would be quite a tip off, if one was sensitive to people noticing the surgery.
