  1. Sorry if this is off-topic, but I've been noticing my head has been shape shifting - bumps and/or lumps forming all over. Are they the result of the treatments (minoxidil, shampoo, etc...) or the result of my cutting my hair as close as possible to razor baldness once a week with clippers? I hope someone knows cause it's began to annoy me. Thx:confused:
  2. What is a good site to get cipla's fincar from? I ordered from inhousepharmacy.com but they require a prescription so I'm not sure they will ship before I submit that to them, which of course I don't have. Thx
  3. I used finastride a while back and that was good. However I think my latest batch (from another company) was not good. Should I order from the store on this site? I imagine it should provide a good product. Thx
  4. It might be time for me to give up and accept nature's will. One month ago I started using revita hair lost shampoo while using rogain foam. After a month, no visible progress, but sadly I've lost more hair from this sheading nonsense. So now I really truly look bald. I know the consensus around here is to stick with it, but I highly doubt all the shead hair will grow back. I find it awkward how a product needs to first do more damage before it actually start working. The one product that was working for me was 10% minoxidill that was in a clear bottle. It has since been taking off the market and replace with practically hair glue. Rogain foam, is pretty much for the top of the head only, so it doesn't work for me. But my main problem with RF is the fact that it makes me drowsy all day if I use it in the morning before I leave my house. Now I'm trying revivogen and nizoral shampoo. I will stop the rogain foam for I can't stand the head aches and drowsiness any longer. If any one here could help out with something that could help me, I would appreciate that very much.
  5. Hello all, I'm a little shocked and confused at the same time. I've been losing lots of frontal hair lately and I've blamed it on stopping finastride and minoxidil for two months. I've always been under the impression finastride/propecia helps you to keep the hair you have. So what am I to do now, stop taking my finastride or keep going while my frontal area continues to fade into obscurity? Maybe I'll go back to profollica. While it was expensive I did feel like it was helping the frontal area. Any thoughts any1?
  6. Hello everyone, I've been losing my hair for a while now and in the past I had a good combo that was helping me through it. I used propecia few years ago. I had ordered a large amount so I didn't have to get any more for a while. I also was using 10-15% minoxidil from amazon. As of recent, 10-15% has been made illegal and the ones I found on ebay don't seem to have the same effect. In fact, they dont seem to even be the same thing at all. They just dont work. I recently ordered a new propecia from a new website which doesn't even exist any more because unitedphamacies could not process my other for some reason. So I feel like the propecia I bought may have been.. well not legit. I also have been using Alpecin Double Effect Shampoo and while it's not bad, it causes my scalp to shed every time I use it. I just dont think that's a good thing any more. So please if any one could give me a link to some good working propecia (name, not just website link), good working minoxidil and a good shampoo/spray, I would be very happy. In fact just let me know whatever will work cause at this point, it is beginning to affect my self confidence which tents to result in depression. PS: What are your thoughts on Profollica. It uses a tripple threat approach and pretty expensive. Does it work? Thx everyone!
  7. Hello all, recently my last profollica shampoo ran out and since to get another profollica shampoo I'd have to buy the entire kit (pills, gell and shampoo) I decided to just go with a new brand. Well what do you know after using Nioxin System 2 Cleanser for the past 2 months, nothing else happened but extreme hair lost. I dont understand this really since the only reason I purchased the shampoo was because it was recommended here  I guess it's time to order another profollica kit just for the shampoo since I was getting much better results with that set up.:confused::confused:
  8. The bad: I like to try thing for hair and about 6 moths ago I decided to try DS LABS shampoo and topical solution for hair lost. I fell victim to the great reviews(may have been fake) from amazon. The product clearly stated that you will shed or lose more hair in the beginning, but that is natural as this process will pave the way for future hair. The only problem I had was the fact that while I kept on losing more hair in the shedding process, three months later, the NEW hair never started to grow and I was looking balder than ever. I finally decided to simply STOP IT. The good: Right after I stop using DS LABS products. I went back to 5% minoxidil which I only used for a month prior to DS Labs. I also continue to take finastride( wrong spelling?) plus I decided to use an old champoo from my old profolica order. I really can't tell which one is working mor than the other, but all I know is I've been seeing weekly improvements. I no longer FEEL bald. I really feel by the en of this year I'll be very happy. The question: I have read that the more dosage from minoxidil will result in faster performance. That's what it says from the creators of minoxidil over 5%. However I also know in medicine higher dosage can have reverse and negative impacts. There I was wondering if any here would recommend minoxidil 10% or higher? Thank you all, helmania
  9. Thank you once again Maxxy and diamondlight. I hope you guys had a great xmas. Sadly, santa didn't bring me the only thing I asked for; a full set of hair In other news, I have received my Fincar order. I read here that one should ingest only 1mg/day - well, mine is 5mg(a pill) and I truly dont see how on earth will I be able to break these, already minuscule pills, into two pieces - never mind four. So, I was wondering about the following: 1. What if I take it every other day so the dosage will be 2.5mg/day, is that bad? 2. Will anything beyond 1mg/day kill me, cause unpleasant side effects, shrink my penis, ect... 3. Is it better to take in the morning or at night before bed? 4. See question 2? To give a little bit of good news to brighten the mood; I recently got a hair cut and I noticed the "bald" outline or crease that started forming around the sides of my head are less visible now. I suppose the minoxidil is really working. I can only hope Fincar will do it's part to make things better. Happy New Year and may we all get a full set of hair
  10. Thank you maxxy and diamond for your replies. If I should not do any type of HT soon, do you believe Finasteride will bring my hair back the natural way? If not, what exactly will I accomplish by taking Finasteride for a full year first? Diamond, if I'm currently taking minixidil to keep what I have, why would after a HT, for the middle part of my hair to suddenly completely fall out. I dont understand what "shockloss" is. Please elaborate more. thanks
  11. Thank you Maxxy for your generous reply. Would you say perhaps 5000 would achieve a more solid result based on my 2 pictures? I will look at the list of recommended doctors you have provided me. Regarding Finasteride, I have googled it and can't seem to find anywhere I can order it. I tend to buy all of my stuff from amazon.com and I could only find books about finasteride there. Where can I order this medicine please? I assume it's a pill since the sites mentioned 1mg and 5mg. Just let me know where. thank you once again!
  12. Another pic, showing the lost that started from the center. But I think the medicines have stopped the lost from continuing.
  13. Hello all, I hope wish everyone a full set of hair for Christmas. I'm a 32year old who can no longer stand losing hair. I will upload pictures soon, but I'm African American and my baldness is mainly from the front. The dilemma started since I was in highschool and never stopped. I started fighting the baldness about 2 years ago by jumping on ProFollica. That didn't work after being on the pills and religiously using the shampoo. I switched to Prolivius for a while and got no where. I decided to do further research and jumped on minixidol 15% and Revita shampoo. I have been seeing slow but steady regrowth with these two. Unfortunately since I've been using them around the same time, I truly dont know to which one do I owe the progress. I first would like to know from those of you with experience, if I should STOP using Revita shampoo and just use the minoxidil. Also, are there anything else I could be using to keep (and hopefully get slow regrowth) of the hair I have left? The truth is I dont have a lot of money right now since I recently went back to school and lost my job in January of this year. However, this baldness (which has made it rather difficult to pull the chicks) has truly got to me. I simply CANT stand being like this any more. I live in the Massachusetts area and can dedicate up to $2,500 to spend. Based on the graft calculator, it seemed like I would need perhaps around 1000 graphs. But of course if my money's too short, I'd settle for 800 or 750. Once I post my pictures, my hope is that you guy will not only point me to a decent/good surgeon, but one I can afford. I dont really care about having a FULL set of hair. I just DETEST having bald spots like I currently do. Thanks in advance for your replies and keep watch for the pictures soon. Hel I have other pictures other than just one, but I dont see the option to upload more than 1 picture (attachment) per post.
