Hi Guys and Drmstx, I had my HT done by Dr. Pathuri Madhu 15 days before. I got 2720 grafts, and he charged me around Rs. 68000. He charges Rs. 25 per graft. I am satisfied with the result. Now, almost my grafts fell off and doctor says this is normal. I have to wait at least 2 months to see the new hair growth. Guys, one thing I would like to tell you that Dr. Madhu gives good density on the scalp. You must go to his clinic and see the results, he has many pictures of his patients. He almost transplants 40 grafts per square centimeter, which is good. His contact number is (promotional information removed). Doctor has taken my pre and postop photographs, I will try to show you guys. I suggest you to meet him once after taking appointment. And, guys who had HT, please tell me that is it normal that we lose grafts in 10 to 15 days and when can I see the new hair growth, please tell me. I am on finasteride and minoxidil 5%. Thank you.

Hi guys, I underwent surgery on 11/10/2008 by Dr. Madhu. I am satisfied with the result till now. I got good density on the front. The number of grafts planted are 2720. I would like to ask something who had HT that I am feeling itching on the scalp. I am using baby shampoo daily. Please clarify my doubt and give some suggestions what should precautions should I take after surgery, please answer.

I want to know from Anantha that can I go for HT by Dr. Madhu without any hesitation, have you seen any patients of him. Hi Naren I can understand you, if you think Dr. Ravindra is better HT doc in Hyderabad. Please try to meet those persons who had their HTs done by Dr. Puli Ravindra Reddy, and observe their transplanted hair and density of the hair, and ask the Dr. Ravindra whether he does FUT procedure or any other procedure. If he says he does FUT procedure then take 100% assurance that the surgery will be successful and try to be on finasteride 1 mg daily, it is effective and please share your experience with us.

Hi guys, I did a lot of search to find a good HT doc in India, but I do not know why there is no such doctor who does good HT work in India, it is really unfortunate. I am on finasteride (Finax) 1 mg daily and minoxidil 5% (Mintop forte 5%) from last 8 months, I found good results up to last month, but now I am loosing some hair and my hair started becoming thin, will you please guys advise me where I am going wrong, I started having curd with my meals, may it be the reason for this. I lost my temporal region hair on both sides, more on the right, I have hair on the scalp. I would like to get hair transplantation on that area only, can I get it. Can I use Nizrol 1% shampoo regularly or should I use any baby shampoo to wash my hair daily. Please answer. Bye

I am using Finax and Mintop for the last 3 months and I am seeing positive results and I hope to get good results after 1 year. One thing I would like to know about FUT procedure, what is it? Hi guys, How are you? I read your views about myself, you told me to send photographs, I will send it soon. I think I am not a HT candidate, I am using Finax and Mintop regularly. I read most of the forums and could know that HT surgery should be done in USA or Canada, but it is not possible for me to go abroad and have this surgery done. Hi I am Ajju. I am a 27-year-old guy. I am new to this forum. I went through your posts. I also would like to take advice from you and share my thoughts regarding HT. I lost about 70% of my hair on the scalp area. I am planning to go for HT, I consulted Dr. Ashok in Hyderabad. He prescribed me Finax 1 tablet daily and told me that the cost will be Rs. 40,000 in one sitting. I also consulted Dr. B. Narsimha who is also a HT doctor, who does Laser-assisted Hair transplant, he told me that the cost will be Rs. 50,000 for 1200 grafts. My baldness is grade 5. I would like to take your advise, what should I do? Should I go for Laser-assisted Hair transplant or should I consult Dr. Ashok or any other doctor in India only. Waiting for reply Thanks,
