Ok, I think you have a ways to go, especially on a revision. When it comes to strip scar concealment I've been addressing the entire donor zone so that it all blends seamlessly.
-
How long ago was the revision? It can take a year or even longer for redness to subside and unfortunately sometimes it never does. I once had a client use a Fraxel laser to flatten his strip scars and also remove the redness. It was effective but this was attempted years after having the surgery. As far as applying topicals, my wife used Mederma and Scar Guard to help heal her C Section scar and it did improve it.

Doctors charging for initial consultations
hairthere replied to Ketchupp's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Most doctors will apply the consultation fee towards surgery if you book with them. $100 isn't a lot for a consult fee. I've heard of docs charging $350. If it's a doc you're serious about booking with I would not let this deter me. Besides you're gonna spend A LOT more on the actual surgery. -

Looking Great! -
I've had multiple surgeries with Dr. Feller and one with Dr Bloxham. To see pictures of my hair just search for my SMP clinic's web site Ahead Ink in North Bergen, New Jersey. I also have a YouTube channel where you can see my hair. I'm now 51 years old and would be a slick bald NW5/6 without HT surgery (I never took Finasteride). My first surgery was in 2005.

Enhancing my hairline with SMP (blonde / red hair)
hairthere replied to Kdegen's topic in Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP)
I would advise against using SMP for this. Even though your hairloss is stabilized that hair can still go at anytime. Also it's a bit see-through in the front and I think the SMP would be a bit obvious. -
These clients all had hair transplants that left them with poor density. We used SMP to create more aesthetic hairlines and to fill in the thinned areas.

Thank you!

At Ahead Ink I'm always looking for ways to improve the lives of hair transplant patients. Having 3 strip scars myself I understand how troublesome door area scarring can be. I recently devised a new approach where the entire donor zone gets treated with SMP. This works well for full concealment of both strip and FUE scars. Here is a client who had both types of surgery. He will return for a third session to further address lower/nape zone scars. Thanks for looking.

Eugenix - January 2023 - 5300 grafts
hairthere replied to abrorkhasanov's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
You were a slick-bald NW7 and you're at 7 months. I get it, but you really have to be patient. Your transplant has a long way to go and lots of growing and maturing before being unhappy with your results. -

Hair transplant potential?
hairthere replied to Adriam's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Unfortunately it doesn't. He'd need to shave down with a zero guard on a clipper. Adriam, your instinct about your donor is correct IMO. I wouldn't recommend having surgery. -
Cancun Hair Restoration is a Disgraceful SCAM
hairthere replied to RB12's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Thanks for the mention. I'm actually going to be working on a very similar client today. Obviously this "clinic/doctor" is a scammer and should not be doing hair transplants, but the consumer really needs to spend more time researching and understanding what they're getting themselves into when they start down this path. OP: Sorry to say but it's doubtful you'll recoup anything from this. The best you can do is chalk it up to a lesson learned and be thankful your donor wasn't butchered. You can do SMP around those grafts but I'd recommend looking into removal either via surgery or laser. If you want to schedule a consultation reach out to me via email info@aheadink.com or text/call 201-482-4529.
