  1. Yea I take 1.25mg EOD, so far no sides... I'm considering going to one pill a day thought...
  2. I used to use minoxidil for the temple area, the only reason I found it wasn't working great for me is because it was dripping down so much. I think if I used a Spray on version or foam, it would have been great.... Considering I HAD HAIR GROWING ON MY FOREHEAD/ above my eyebrow (didn't even know I had hair there!!! EEP). Also it gave me acne wherever it dripped on my skin..
  3. Hey everyone, I'm currently using proscar 1/4 EOD, have any of you used this regimen or should I suck it up and take the pill everyday? I haven't experience any side AT ALL with EOD, it's quite the opposite, i've been very horny... But this could also be due to the Adinnine im taking along side.. Any comments suggestions? thanks
  4. I disagree. Laser work. My guess is why so many people on here don't think the laser works is because they don't use it properly. When used as directed the comb works. I was about to throw mine back to lexington, but I noticed small hairs growing in on my temples. So, use the comb religiously- and don't overdo it, just use it however it's sposed to be used (10-15 max a week) but keep it the same ALWAYS! otherwise you'll just keep going through shedding periods and think it isn't working. When in actuality if your hair loss is minor, it'll work. It has begun to work for me (took 4 months to notice change, im excited to see how my hair will look in a year!)
  5. Try the LASERCOMB! and give it some time, I looked in the mirror the other day and saw small hairs growing on my temple region! I'm stoked! If you read my last post I was angry because I didin't think the comb was working, however after the 4 month mark, suddenly it seems like its just kicking in for me...The lasercomb is not only FDA approved for safety, its funny how people believe that if somethiing is to good to be true then it is. Wrong mentality when trying to regrow hair. I dealt with acne and conquered it, now im going to conquer my hair loss (mostly by being proactive) I think a younger generation will soon be seen with hair! FDA approved items for hair LOSS include Finasteride (beats DHT) Minoxidil (growth stimulant) and the laser comb (growth stimulant). Many people on here are far to skeptical, I give the laser comb the thumbs up personally.
  6. Hey, I find that I shed most in the shower and it occurs for a day or two, then stops. And then I'll be like man my hair is looking GOOOOD then bam more shedding. HOWEVER GOOD NEWS! I noticed that new miniature hairs are growing on my temples! This has to be due to the lasercomb or the nizoral... my guess is the comb ( Since i cut back on the nizoral since i have thin hair it made it WAY worse). So to all you who say the lasercomb does not work, I must disagree and encourage those who are just starting to lose the hair to give it the 5 month trial period, at the worse you'll lose 100 dollars (reshipping fee and i think restocking?). Anyhow I was just about to send my comb back when i felt the edge of my hair line and there was stubble! I inspected closer and Voila, HAIR! No i don't work for lexington before all the skeptics begin to scrutinize my results.
  7. Imun, you're taking 5mg EOD? or 1.25 EOD? Do you take a whole proscar pill, if so that seems like overkill for hairloss? However I'm not your doctor so I'm just curious to hear your response.
  8. The shedding has BEGUN! I feel like a chemo patient, its coming out in clumps... but my hairs real long right now, so I'll be able to hide it with my curls since it makes it look thicker. I'm excited since I don't have any side effects, ive been taking Arginine, I hear its great for improving ones sex drive... And MAN has it done so, I'm super horny, so I'm guessing either Arginine is working or the proscar just isn't affecting me?
  9. I'm curious to why people are so against LLT it's FDA approved, (promotional link removed) and there is evidence for the comb. I myself have not yet seen great success and will be trying for my money back soon. OR an extended warranty depending on what they allow. Even Dateline did a very very subjective research on treatments for mpb, and found the hairmax effective. (surely lexinton can't have billions to pay off everyone?)
  10. Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and wanted to hear some advice. I've been using the lasercomb for 4months now and my hair looks thin as ever! I guess it's more manageable? But nothing drastic... Thus I wonder should I switch over to minoxidil? I was using it a year back, however i hated the zits it gave me on my forehead (I did see regrowth at the temple region). But then began using the lasercomb and quit minoxidil... And voila my hairline began to recede ..( I'm hoping this is just shedding... but at 4months?) Any tips or thoughts?
  11. I started a couple days ago I'm 23, no shedding just yet, I'll try to keep you posted, but i have trouble finding where i posted in these threads!
  12. Manhog, I began wondering this topic myself! It was not long ago that I began taking finasteride, 1.25 mg EOD, I began 4days ago! What I noticed right away was I began LOOKING for these side effects, I've payed very close attention to my body these past days, however I've made a HUGE mistake by not having any real basis for comparison, since memory is greatly flawed. Thus to me it is no surprise that you would find individuals trying to find symptoms to the drug and thus creating a self fulfilled prophecy, since the mind is VERY powerful. One has to consider that as you get older your libido is going to drop whether you like it or not and whether you're on finasteride or not, it will still drop! It really helps to read articles on finasteride, (check out regrowth.com they have some good articles) Many studies (not just merks) have found that side effects are low in comparison to a placebo group. However because I'm a young lad and consider myself cheap but suave- I chose to do the finasteride EOD since I hear it's just as effective and takes the chances of "sides" away. Good luck to you on your hunt, but remember with all the studies out there, there's only ONE way to find out if you'll actually get the sides haha. For me trying to make it as an actor, it's well worth the risk.
  13. I began using finasteride 1.25mg EOD, along side my regime. I'll do my best to keep you guys posted. I'm 23, so it's effects may be different!
  14. I've begun to take finasteride 1,5mg EOD. I try my best to keep you posted on how well it works for me! However I'm 23 with a Norwood 2, so my results may not be entirely typical of the average finasteride user.
  15. Hello everyone! I'm new and will be following up as much as I can with my progress. I heard that taking finasteride every other day can be as effective as once a day, with less negative sides. Has anyone heard anything about this?
  16. I'm 23 and used minoxidil when i was 21 at the hairline for a year and half, I hated it because hair was growning around my eye brows and I was getting bad acne due to the product. I switched to the laser comb (and watched my hairline receded ) I started finasteride 1.5mg today, I heard it's ok to take it every other day. And that this will decrease any side effects. Good luck man, get on something stable, I don't recommend minoxidil for the front, since its so messy. Try the lasercomb? It did nothing for me yet (4months) but some people claim that it works. There's interesting studies by nbc on youtube.
  17. I used the lasercomb for about 4 and a half months now, and I've noticed no difference, rather my hair has receded even more and I'm only 23! I started proscar today actually... going to use the comb for the full 5 months trial tho.
