  1. Hey, looks great so far! Was the wait time for the surgery 3 months or did you choose to wait 3 months before getting it done?
  2. Hey, great results so far! How much did he charge per graft, if I may ask?
  3. Thank you very much for your reply! @Melvin- Moderator @DrTBarghouthi I hope you two don't mind me tagging you. What do you think, if I may ask?
  4. Hello! I'm a diffuse thinner and have been on medication (Dutasteride and Oral Minoxidil) for 3 years now and as such my loss has completely stabilized, but I have not seen any improvements in the last year, making me believe that I cannot expect more results from medication alone. The entirety of the top of my head looks about equally thinned like in the close up picture attached, in a NW6 pattern. I now have a couple questions which I hoped you hair transplant veterans might be able to answer. I also added a picture from my donor. Onto the questions: 1. Is it possible to place grafts in between my existing hair as seen in the picture? 2. Is it possible to remove the heavily minituarized, very fine hairs in order to make place for healthy grafts? 2.1 Is it possible to then place those grafts back into my donor to add some slight amount of density back and make the scars less prominent? Since these very fine hairs add a slight amount of density, I assume more grafts could then be taken from my donor then, no? 3. How many grafts do you believe would be needed to get strong density back. I am fully aware of the limitations of HT surgery and I know that I will never get my original density back, but I would like to have enough hair again to be able to style it upwards and not have to rely on a combover with hair fibers. I am not looking to lower my hairline or refill my temples, not at all, I actually love the slightly more mature look. I only want density. As you may see, I'm currently a head shaver, but without going into too much detail, it's causing me a great deal of emotional stress. I believe it's great that head shaving has become so accepted and it's a wonderful option for millions of guys out there, but it just isn't for me, same with hair systems or SMP. Thank you so much in advance! PS: I'm sorry for the awful photo quality.
