  1. He did not bring it up. He spoke very little with me about things. I just thought if someone were to want hair transplanted into an old FUT scar perhaps FUE would be up for the job.
  2. My dear brother in Satan, stay in school The ruler you see in the photos has a mark for every millimeter. So the 10,20,30 etc are how many millimeters, god forbid the scar would be 10 inches wide or even 10 cm wide.
  3. I’m happy with the scar. FUT procedures leave a scar like that. It is smaller and cleaner than the one I got from the guy in Florida. I can have it down to a 5 and it not be noticeable. To avoid posting the same stuff over and over, go back to my January Post and I have a ruler right on the scarring for you to see. Maybe you can plan on a FUE procedure to place some hair in the scar
  4. Of course the density and pattern isn't like it was when I was a teenager, but I am very happy to have enough hair up top to not feel so self-conscious and look in a mirror and feel good about how it looks. Dr Wong said this was the last FUT (I've had two total) I'll be able to do because of laxity, so if I ever want more hair (like in the crown area which is thinning still) I'll consider FUE in the future. Or when we can clone hair follicles and have a never ending supply I'll look forward to utilizing that. For now though, I'm happy with what I've had done and these latest results and dont feel the need to start planning on any future procedures. If you want to see how the scar looks when I actually do my hair go back to the month 7 or 8 update. Below are scar pictures from this morning.
  5. 36 Weeks (9 Months) post FUT. I do not style my hair like Dragon Ball Z, but it does allow for a good look at the hairline.
  6. Thanks, you are right, not the most flattering with the wet hair but allows a good look down to the scalp and follicles.
  7. 32 Weeks post FUT Photos. First 6 with wet hair so it is easier to assess follicle density with my fine hair and some dry right after a haircut this morning.
  8. Yes, I split a finasteride 5mg pill into quarters and take a quarter every other day.
  9. 28 Weeks (7 months) since my FUT. I dont dread wind messing up my comb-over anymore. It is so nice to have an increased density of hair, despite how fine my hair naturally is.
  10. Dr Wong did say he was taking out the old FUT scar and the new scar is much smaller and less noticeable. Here are some photos of the new FUT scar and measurements where it is the thickest and thinnest.
  11. 6 months post FUT! Things are evening out and density and thickness are pretty good. As far as the 'row-like placement' I haven't really had an issue because of the closeness of the grafts. Grafts that are super close just look like a lot of hair is growing close together, it isn't like corn-rows, and there is an offset between rows. I'm by no means an expert but looks pretty good how it was done.
  12. Exactly at my 5 month mark! The hair has really started to grow in and even out a bit. I've seen somewhere that around the 5 month mark it is supposed to be 50-60% of the final result and if that is the case, and I'm going to get even more hair, I'll be ecstatic.
  13. 4 months post FUT. At the point where I’m noticing a lot of thin little hairs sprouting, pretty excited and happy. Definitely feeling the hope :-)
  14. No, and hasn’t been for the last 7 weeks. I kept my hair pretty long on the sides and that covered it up a week after I removed the staples. If I lift the hair up of course the scar can be found, there is still some redness and shock loss around the scar and it’s line can be seen. But honestly a lot better than my first FUT.
  15. 3 Months, still in the ugly phase, still hard being patient. Scalp sensation is near normal. The hair growth seems to mainly be what I had before, I dont think too much of the new grafts have really started growing yet.
