Hello,
I have had what I would call a "quite pronounced forehead" for as long as I can remember. This became even clearer when I buzzed it at the age of 18, revealing some relatively high temples. Interestingly, the progression of the receding temples appears to be very slow, as you can see that there is no visible difference between 2 pics taken 2 years apart (2020 and now, at the age of 25).
I am on 0.25mg fin since November 2021, after an initial shed I have not observed any further loss.
I have been considering a transplant for some years now, as I do get self conscious on a windy day or when my hair gets wet, or many other situations. Since this decision has been a long time coming, I reached out to HLC in Turkey, and they recommended around 2000 grafts. I was told that I have great density, meaning my donor area should provide enough for some time to come.
One final piece of information is that the only case of MPB in my family is my mother's grandfather, who never seemed to have gone quite bald (photo included), despite beginning at a young age like me.
My questions:
- If I assume to stay on 0.25mg fin, is it still a good idea to get the transplant?
- Is it possible to follow a pattern like my great grandfather's (the pictures are of when he was around 70-80), even if you begin balding early? So, how likely is it that I will follow his pattern?
- Is HLC a good option for me? There are 2 websites: https://www.fue-hlc.com/, https://hairlinetransplantturkey.com/reviews/hlc-clinic/
my correspondence has been with info@fue-hlc.com
Thanks a lot!
