  1. These photos were taken on September 25th, four months after the procedure. It is clearly noticeable how the capillary density has increased especially at the top and crown. Despite the high density of transplanted hairs, the donor area remained with its natural appearance. I believe that in the coming months the hair density will increase even more! Wait for more updates! 😉
  2. Hi! I am 37 years old and I will share my experience and follow-up of the hair transplant performed by Dr. Pittela and his team. In mid-2021 I had an appointment with Dr. Pittella for my case evaluation, a diffuse baldness, started in adolescence. From the first contact, Dr. Pittella was very attentive, realistic and carefully in planning the procedure, which made me feel very confident. The procedure was scheduled for January 2022. At the time, I got COVID-19 and, respecting the protocols, the procedure was rescheduled for May 2022. During the entire period, Dr. Pittella team kept in close contact with me. I received all the recommendations for preoperative care (exams, medicines, food, hygiene...). The procedure was performed on 05/25/2022 (Day 1) at his clinic in Linhares/ES/Brazil. I arrived at the clinic around 7 am. The transplant was performed under light sedation throughout the day, with breaks to go to the bathroom and to have a meal. The discomfort is minimal, especially at the local anesthesia. The room environment and the friendly Dr. Pittella’s team make me more relaxed during the procedure. A total 6.374 grafts containing 12.497 follicles were transplanted. After the procedure, Dr. Pittella highlighted the immediate postoperative care and made himself available for any need. The next day, 05/26/2022 (Day 2), I came back to the clinic to remove the bandage. On the same day (Day 2), I returned to my hometown, Teresina (PI/Brazil), after 12 hours trip, approximately. I had a calm and safe trip, following Dr. Pittella’s recommendations. Today, 28/07/2022 (Day 3), I feel good and without major discomforts. The frontal area is slightly swollen, which was expected, but pain free. The biggest discomfort is when sleeping because it requires special care to avoid touching the transplants. In the next few days, I will share the evolution of the transplant! I am certainly very satisfied with the procedure performed and the professionalism of Dr. Pittella and his team.
