  1. You likely can save money and just do a 1:1 mix with minoxidil, so you will get your 0.05 solution.
  2. Honestly, the result looks fantastic and pretty good work has been done. I just think that the design is a little too aggressive, so I am praying for this guy to have not future loss.
  3. @ciaus My suspicion is that you are a troll and I will report you. You can just not blame me for helping out someone who is in trouble. Moreover people telling him to stop the medication, in contrast of that I give tips how to overcome Brainfog. I am not a medical doctor, anyways, us trans persons, have to deal a lot with hormones in general and hormonal imbalances. I am still pretty sure, that this is a problem of missing Allopregnanolone in downstream. But instead of offending me, I am very ecxited what tips do you have. So why is he suffering from brain fog and what can be done about it ? On the other hand, if you are not willing to hear other peoples opinions and join a discussion, I am wondering why you enter a forum at all.
  4. TBH, I would really wait until the 2year timeline. Hair regrowth is sometimes pretty slow.
  5. So true, loosing hair in this young age can be very very depressing. I think it makes a big difference if you are balding with 20 instead of balding with 30. Literally it has destroyed the time of my life which should have been the “best”. I still suffer from that. I also agree that you need to jump on Fin ASAP, there are chances that your balding spot all over your head will cover up niceley.
  6. I remember the feeling, it was quite hard to go trough, I felt so lost every day But solving that problem is easy, just get utrogest and you will be fine. (Take it sublingual!) Having a good doctor might help, if not you can get it via black market (see hrt.cafe). To save money you can move from topical Fin to oral. I don’t use Progesterone anymore, as I am trans, my 5ar will not be occupied by too much Testosterone, so my neurosteroid levels are fine. But before my transition, P4 helped me a lot and I got rid of the brain fog.
  7. I am an Hattingen patient too, must say, I literally had huge shock loss and before the 6th month mark, there was no regrowth to see at all. Anyways, even if I panicked, I was all over the roof, passing the 13th month mark. I recently had another transplant and I understand the frustration on that journey, even if I thought I would be prepared this time.
  8. You might also want to get your hormones checked, might be also that you have high estrogen and high testosterone, which gives a lot of discomfort. I am working as a programmer, and FIN triggered this brain fog for me too, like you said: like in cotton UNSTANDABLE. This won't go away bit itself, so you need to do something against it, lowering the dose won't help unfortantly.
  9. Another option - that's what I am doing - but you shouldn't. Decrease your Testosterone to very low leves, so T is not competing with P4 on the 5ar2 anymore, and your levels of DHP4 will increase -> more Allopregnanolone.
  10. I'll try 😃 You are using Finasteride, which is an 5 alpha reductase inhibior. 5 alpha reductase, converts testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT). But 5 alpha reductase, does more than that. You have a hormone in your body which is called Progestrone (typical an important hormone for woman). Progesterone will be converted to Dihydroprogesterone and finally to Allopregnanolone, which is a pretty important neurosteroid. Most people's brain can adjust to the lowered Allopregnanonlone, but some can't. So your option is to increase that Progesterone by adding some bio-indentical (Utrogest 100). So if you have more of that, you'll get the chanche to bind more of it to the 'still-active' 5 alpha reductase enzymes and increase Allopregnanonlone again.
  11. Your only option is to add bio-identical progesterone (utrogest) sublingual. Problem is 5ar Inhibits P4->DHP4 transformation, this means a decrease of allopregnanolone (important neusteroid) downstream.
  12. Fantastic results, she must be pretty happy. I have the feeling, that the estrogen, that us trans girls are taking, really provides early growth. I can observe that, too. First transplant (without HRT) took much longer to mature than the latest one.
  13. I would also recommend waiting 12 months before jump on any hair transplant. It will thicken your native hair, which reduces shock loss. And most important: you really need to figure out m, that you can really imagine taking it until the rest of your life.
  14. I can only recommend you to go to Hattingen and do a max strip. My baldness is really bad, with 25 I was much more bald than you. The 5200 Grafts was really doing wonders for me, but as I really want to have a illusion of density all over my scalp, in addition to my very fine hair, I need likely to double that amount. I had 7800 Grafts and still 2500 in my scalp donor. Without FUT this wouldn’t be possible, and I would be stuck
  15. I also vote for Hattingen in Switzerland to start with a big FUT, as you might need more than 4000 Grafts in the first place. According to your future Hair loss, you can go on with FUE after and got a bigger amount of Lifetime-graft. Did the same: 5200 FUT, Hattingen 2600 FUE, HLC Starting with FUT was the best descision I ever made. As I live in Bavaria, driving to Hattingen and back was comfortable as well
  16. You should speak with your doctor, he should inform you about this is normal. Actually you don't loose the actual hair papilla, just hair with some tissue. Total normal.
  17. Sorry, I don't get the problem, blood clots appear, but shouldnt be an issue.
  18. Very soft hairline, but I don't like the transition from natural to implanted hair actually.
  19. Wow, just gorgeous, this case is really solved. I had 7800 Grafts with top notch doctors and I am not half way there, where the patient is. Good hair characteristics + top doc = wonderful result.
  20. And if so, how much extra Grafts can be approx harvested (maybe in percent m?)
