    Four months and a few days in different lighting definitely seeing the growth but still concerned I may need one more small session in Frontal third with strong hairline and crown now in place

    Few days short of 4 month update definitely some growth but harder to tell how much than when I had my crown as that was very sparse pre surgery. still thinking I’m going to need 1k more behind the hairline in the middle zone if I want to maintain an even buzz or even consider smp but a bit nervous of the latter approach. I have plenty of beard and maybe a few hundred from one side I could use. I am sure if I grew it out it would cover the area but have grown attached to the buzz look 🤦‍♂️

    Approaching 3 months and think I am seeing some growth hard to tell but easiest to spot in the temples. Strangely my crown at three months I think saw more growth at this stage but 3 months I know is very early stages. Trying to remain patient! 🙄

    Good luck with it mate it’s a very small price to pay no one likes the needles but by the time you wake up next day it’s all road to having a result (with the right clinic) and you will never look back. I’d take the pain twice over in order to have addressed the issue of hair loss 🙂

    Hey buddy, check my crown work to see previous transplant from last year with Bhr which was a real success so hoping this front will follow. I’m 2.5 months post opp so trying to remain patient! im ngl this time round the injections were brutal I really struggled more than ever but I honestly think this is because I’ve had allot of surgeries over my whole scalp and maybe the tissue is more sensitive. My first two weren’t that bad at all, but it’s a small part of the picture and for the end result you have to get through it, it’s quick and you just have to accept it’s gonna happen, a tiny % of the overall opp and those doing it I trusted completely. They did everything to make me comfortable as they could see i was struggling. Many people have different levels of pain Melvin for example may say injections on non virgin scalp is more painful as he’s had many or Gatsby?

    Hi mate I had two transplants ten years ago 3k went into a large area front moving back see below then 3k in the crown, crown was then added to by. Bisanga last July adding 3k into crown. i agree front does look sparse but under the camera lights in the clinic bang on your head and having fine diameter hair it does help. I also still had some frontal ten years ago which have since lost with no fin. So my latest pic is prob my pre opp starting point in nov last year just not with the bright lights shining on it I guess? I think very fine diameter versus someone with thick or curly hair has allot to do with it. and always has to be thought about when comparing results but maybe I lost some of my transplanted hair after 11 years 🤷‍♂️ Grown out it pre opp shows the difference too as back in nov pre crown work I had longer hair my first opp 11 years ago prohair clinic Belgium, the 3k crown year later prohair then my starting point 2023 pre bisanga crown work of 3k then my starting point 11 years ago pre any surgery lost all that hair obviously since

    2 month update probably back to pre surgery as thought I had some shock loss. my last crown surgery I saw growth at month three so here’s hoping 🤞 bit concerned I’ll still need some more mid scalp if I want to maintain a shaved style or some smp but going to wait and see. Have plenty of beard to use 🤷‍♂️

    3 week update started some shedding already think I’ve had a bit of shock loss too at the back where a few grafts were added and maybe some in front. donor I feel is good considering the number of grafts in total I e had out of it, what do people think? bit worried about the highlighted areas this wasn’t added too in the last two rounds and concerned this is an issue. I have no scalp donor left but wondering if some beard would fill this bit in? Thoughts? Thanks 🙏

    Day 8 hair wash and the dreaded scabs come off. all looking good I think, thoughts?

    I should know this as I e had three transplants before this one but when doing your first hair wash for me this is day 8, is it normal for some hairs to come away with the scabs? I can’t remember but have already hd some scabs fall off with the odd hair in them? I’m day 7 today thanks!

    Well BHR have done 2 of the surgeries 6k by prohair clinic 10 years previous over two surgeries, but BHR took it on aware of the grafts I had taken. I must have had above average donor 🤷‍♂️ 🙏

    I have just returned from my 4th and final hair transplant with BHR Clinic. I won’t detail all my history as it is in my previous thread on here which I would like to link in to here if someone can tell me how? To summarise I have had 2 previous surgeries with Prohair Clinic Antwerp 11 years ago of 3k grafts each. And one previous crown surgery of 3.2k last July with BHR to my crown which was very successful. I returned this week as planned from my first visit to Bhr to strengthen my frontal third and tweak my hair line with 2.5k scalp and also added a few hundred beard most of which went to plug a small gap in the back of my head. I would have been a Norwood 6/7 so all the hair on my head is now transplanted. I have had a total of 11k grafts from my scalp and 900 beard across my surgeries. I have been on 5mg oral minox since April last year with no sides. please see my previous review of BHR but needless to say they were as professional attentive and helpful as the last procedure I had. I was in the chair for nearly 12 hours with the technicians staying late to finish the placement to the highest standard. I even got a lift to my hotel from Dr B! I know the drill now for post opp care and the waiting game. But as documented last time I had growth in 3 months to my crown and prob final result at 6 or 7 so hoping for the same. as mentioned this is my last opp given my donor has reached its limits of safe extraction judged by BHR who have not an excellent job at creating balanced extractions. any thoughts and questions welcome which is why I post mainly to help others. I have some data on my donor prior to this last opp if anyone’s interested huge thanks to the whole BHR team and of course Ian my patient liaison who has been superb as ever. official pics will follow this is all I have for now

    Yes I have had a consultation for a final pass for the frontal third and hairline I didn’t discuss temples at the time but may see what they think in pre surgery part. I can add 2.2k scalp and 300 beard which I hope will give me solid frontal third density. I like the buzz cut tbh but have the option obviously to grow out.

    Since shaving it everyone has complemented on how good it looks shaved and kind of feel more confident with it so I plan this final procedure then see how it looks then I have both options 😊 I have very fine diameter hair so am worried I’d still need concealers etc and may not look full but shaved i feel it looks better. I know some may say it’s mad to get four transplants and to have a buzz cut? But I guess I’ll have options. a year on oral monoxide as well no issues.

    Sorry I never gave a final result but tbh I think I was done by 7 months ish this is a pic at pretty much 12 months just before a london consultation to confirm a final procedure with Bhr. I have been quoted 2.2k scalp and 300 beard to tweak the hairline and strengthen the final third this will be my final transplant and total 10.7k scalp and 1k beard! I have kept a shaved head since transplant as I have grown attached to it and feel it actually looks better than grown out hair especially as my hair is fine diameter. But I have the option to grow out obviously should I wish. I have been shaving down to a no1.5 and even a 1 once with no scarring unbelievable extraction tbh. I fell so much more confident and have lost allot of weight and gained muscle which tbh I put down to the hair transplant giving me back my confidence. I plan to book for later this year and hopefully this will complete my journey

    I had same but everything came back stronger in my view mate so hang in there touch wood no sides bar more hair in other areas but nothing major, I also think I get in grow hairs on chest but maybe due to me shaving the growth I don’t want from minox but small price to pay

    5 month update progress looking good. now considering what to do re frontal third. 🤔 I have grown attached to a shaved head at a no2 so wondering whether I can use smp and some beard and save the remaining scalp grafts for a hairline and temple adjustment? Haven’t seen many examples of FUE and smp with a shaved at no2. Clinic suggest I have 2.5k grafts scalp and beard remaining. thoughts? this is slightly longer prob at no 3 or 4 This is at no2

    Thanks mate my crown was 93 cm approx in the pre consultation. I tho k curly hair will obviously work in your favour for the illusion of density. I can’t rate the team highly enough, I was in the chair I think for 12 hours+ they took all the time they needed to get it right and I think the placement as well is incredible which is all done by the same team of technicians whether you go with bisanga alone or kostis and bisanga as I did. Here is a photo from yesterday just keeps improving!

    Thanks Melvin tbh I’m quite shocked myself at the growth. I can’t identify the beard either in there which was an initial worry. I’m extremely happy with progress with a shaved head my crown now looks better than frontal third already in some respects. When I spoke with bisanga and kostis we spoke about adding 2k or so into the frontal third to complete my journey in a second pass again bears and scalp. And after experiencing the work they do I’m pretty sure I will do it. That will be my fourth and last transplant. I would like to tweak the hairline and temples but the surgeons were keen to add dentistry to the frontal third only. 🤔

    Quick update just short of 4 months post opp and some pretty impressive early growth in my view especially for the crown!😮
