  1. A few days after my surgery I wrote a long review here about my experience with Bogota Hairlines...8 months later I stand by every word. Get ‘em in there!
  2. Sorry wasn’t consistent with the updates but here are my 8 month photos. Very happy with my progress so far in particular with how my hairline starts soft and then builds up towards the mid scalp. This was a concern for me going into this as I’ve seen a lot of transplants that look very obvious and I’m happy there was some thought given into my hairline design. I believe I have 4 more months to go but can’t really imagine it getting any better than this. Thoughts ?
  3. Month 4 update noticing improvements by the week. Hopes it accelerates this month
  4. 3 Months update No major change from last month, some new baby hairs but nothing very noticeable. I know I shouldn't expect much at this point so just patiently waiting.
  5. 2 months update Nothing much to show, shedding was a bitch but i am starting to feel some new spiky hairs. Im hoping it will accelerate soon. Donor area grew amazing and looks untouched. Below are my 2 months photos
  6. 16 days post surgery. All scabs are gone. I’m happy with the donor recovery in particular. How does it look so far ?
  7. Hi all! Coming from New York , Had my Hair Transplant done on Dec 6 2021 in Colombia with Dr Camacho, Bogota Hairlines. I will be sharing my experience as well as the progress hopefully each month. I am 29 have been on finasteride for about 3 years, i feel as my hair loss somewhat stabilized. My goal was to fill in the recessions and improve density at the mid frontal area. The doctor I cant put words on how incredible my experience with Dr Camacho and his team was. I came in very nervous to the clinic and He was very patient and attentive to all my questions. Dr Camacho speaks excellent english and is very communicative. We agreed it's best not to push the limit with a low hairline and to go for a conservative approach as i am still considerably young, have a lot of hair mid scalp/Crown and i wanted to save some donor reserve for the future. I am considering to start Minoxidil to improve my fine hairs. The Surgery I was the only patient that day so had a large team work on me all at once. Dr Camacho was performing about two thirds of the extraction and then was replaced by Dr Paola. I think there were about 3-4 techs sorting the grafts. Dr Camacho did pre made slits and then implanted the grafts with a pen. I had Dr Camacho work on my left side while Dr Paola work on my right side placing the grafts in the pre made slits. I was pretty blown away by the team effort during that part, i think there were about 6-7 techs who were loading the pens and pass to the doctors. All things considered I would say everything went smooth but man those numbing shots were pretty brutal especially the ones they gave before implantation. I ended up getting 2415 grafts. Post surgery I had my head wrapped with a plastic wrap for a couple of days before doing my first wash. First night felt very tight but i did get some sleep. They gave me a travel pillow to hold my head steady while sleeping. Day after felt much better and was able to walk around This is my last day in Bogota, catching a flight back to New York today. I must say i really enjoyed Bogota, it's a great city and i am glad i arrived few days before and got a chance to explore and dine. Im attaching some photos before and right after surgery, will do my best to post more photos as i recover and get some growth. Good luck to me!! BEFORE RIGHT AFTER HT
