  1. I know that, but as I said, I started to feel the side effects by low testo/libido and signs of depression and Im not ready to take the risk to get worse side effects so i quited. If I had to choose between being bald or for example depressed I would choose to be bald... I heard about the topical finasteride for the first time a couple of weeks ago and Im trying read as much as I can about it before I try it, and will probably give it a try.
  2. One concern I have, if you look at my pictures which i mentioned is from this summer (july) and the pictures from the surgeryday (november). It feels and looks like I had much thicker hair during the summer. Is it possible that the hair thin like that on just 3 months? Could it be because I quited with finasteride...? Or maby just that I generally always have "better" hair (growth and thickness) during the summertime... What is your thoughts about that? Also, how can you see that the hairline is good done? I dont dispute the fantastic work, just asking of interesent. How do you see the difference between a "lovely hairline" to a bad hairline on a picture taken directly after surgery. Would be glad if you could explain,I just want to educate myself... And do you think, of what you can see, that my crown and midscalp will be much more covered av this surgery?
  3. My own thoughts. As I said before, top clinic, I understand why many people hold them as the best clinic in the world and I found it hard to see that any other clinic in the world could be more professional than Hasson & Wong. Nothing more needs to be said. Dr. Wong has done an amazing work in my and my friends/family opinion. My girlfriend didnt event believed her eyes after the first surgery when she said exactly these words, "OMG, he has even done a whirl in your crown!!" Personally, I couldnt be more happy with the results. No one has ever noticed that Ive had a hairtransplant and that is even though I had a too sharp hairline after the first surgery, Ive cutted my hair at different barbers and none of them have ever noticed that Ive had a surgery. Funny thing, just last week at my office (13 days after surgery), a co-worker asked where I have been last weeks. I said "Ive been in Canada for surgery", and he looked at me from head to toe and asked "what surgery", only after i showed him some redness on the temples he understood that Ive had a HT. Almost no pain at all after the surgieries, and definitely not after the second surgery. I stayed in Vancouver for like 10 days after every surgery and the clinic booked me in to come back almost every day for cleaning/pimples and to check grafts etc. I went to the clinic every morning the first 5 days after the surgery and after I got the cleaning Dr. Wong personally checked that everything looks good. Without Dr. Wong as you all can see I would be completely bald today, I cant thank him and the team enough. And lets pretend that I could get better result from some other clinic around the world but I wouldnt change that to the service and the professionalism you get from Hasson & Wong. FYI, I am NOT using finasteride or any other medication. I used Propecia for a like 18 months after my first surgery, but i started to feel side effects like low testosterone levels, warning signs of depression etc... so i quited in februari 2021. So guys, let me know what you think. Following pictures is from just now, exactly 18 days after surgery. The only way you could possibly tell that Ive had a HT now is the little redness on my temples which is getting better every day. FYI, those few hairs you see in the front is my "own original" hair and is not putted there, I havent just shaved/cutted my hair for a couple of weeks.
  4. Second surgery, november 2021, almost 3 weeks ago from today. FUE 2913 grafts, about 420 of them singles. So, I have all the time after the results from the first surgery wanted to lower and softer my hairline but my girlfriend has all the time told my that that would look unnatural and it is better to get temples done. And guess what Dr. Wong tells me, he says it is more important the get the temples done and that will make a younger and more natural look. I was also concerned about the crown and midscalp and I Dr. Wong putted all the triples and most of the doubles in that area. The singles was used for the temples and to softer the hairline. The hairline after the first surgery is the only thing i personally didnt like, it was a little bit to sharp.
  5. I am very bad of taking pictures and unfortunately I dint took pictures every month as I see people who have had a HT do, instead I just patiently waited the months to go and shaved my head every week and waited about 10 months before i let it grow out for the first time. The three first pictures are 8 months after surgery when I was at the barber, before/after shaving my head. The other pictures is from this summer, july 2021, almost 2 years after my first surgery and about 3 months before my second surgery.
  6. First surgery, september 2019 About 3150 grafts +- 20 grafts, dont remember exactly. Not much pain the days after the surgery, those days I felt some pain i just used the painkillers I got from the clinic. I remember I had som redness for a couple of weeks but then it was gone, from my donor area, you couldnt even tell that I have had a surgery. FUE First picture is from january 2019 when i contacted the clinic the first time, about 7 months before the surgery. Results after first surgery will follow in next post.
  7. Hi, I found this forum just a couple of weeks before my second surgery at Dr. Wong at the Hasson & Wong Clinic in Vancouver. My first surgery was in september 2019 and my second surgery is almost 3 weeks ago, november 2021. Both FUE. First surgery: About 3150 grafts +- 20 grafts, dont remember exactly. Second surgery: 2913 grafts, about 450 of them singles. I would be happy to let me know what you guys think about the results. Just short about my experience with the clinic/the team, I dont think I have to say so much that havent been said here before. Extremely professionalism from everyone I have spoked with, admin, technicians and of course the legend himself, Dr. Wong. Good communication all the time, even during the worse times during the pandemic (lockdown etc) when the clinic was closed they answered me within 24 hours. Dr. Wong even took his time to call me from his private phone by facetime while sitting home in lockdown with his family just to answer all my questions and planning for the second surgery and let me know about his suggestions etc. My experience is that not many Doctors of any area would do such a thing... Following post shows pictures before/after my first surgery.
