I think OP might have misunderstood the marking on the pic by the clinic. I don't think the clinic is looking to accentuate the hairline as it looks ok. They are recommending 2500 grafts only for the mid and the crown. Out of those 2500 grafts, 500-700 will be scalp grafts and the rest will be extracted from the beard.

I admire your work but in this case it seems the person who has compiled the images did a huge mistake. The before and after images are clearly of two different persons. There are enough odds in the facial features. Even the eye colour is different...haha!

Every method has it's merits and demerits. Each surgeon has his/her own preference. It cannot be said objectively that one method is better than the other. Ultimately it's upto the skill of the surgeon to deliver a desired result. So, instead of choosing for the technique, the onus should be on selecting a good surgeon who has been delivering consistent results over a long period of time. I believe you're quite misinformed about DHI and DHT. DHT was specifically formulated by the Eugenix founders to reduce the out-of-body time of the grafts. In regards to the question of giving density, many doctors say pre-made slits is much more conducive to the same because in DHI the surgeon has to make an incision right next to an already implanted graft. This increases chances of causing trauma to the implanted graft, more so when you're going for a high density transplantation. In pre-made slit based methods like regular FUE/ DHT slits are made beforehand and there is no risk of damaging a graft while making an incision. Eugenix uses DHT which is a modified version on FUE where the slits are made before extraction. Extraction and implantation processes go on simultaneously reducing the out-of-body time of the grafts ensuring maximum survivability.

In DHI there are no pre-made slits. The incision is done using the Choi implanter itself and the graft is pushed into the slit immediately through the push of a manual button on top of the implanter. In DHT, the grafts are put into pre-made slits using SAVA implanter pens.

Seeing the graft placement in the post-op pic, it does kind of look like Asli, HOI or NHT job!

No one in this forum will recommend you either of these two hair mills. There are more chances your head getting butchered at a hair mill than getting bald. Basically you'll be paying them to waste your donor resource. After that you would be paying way much more to get a repair done by an elite doctor. You need to do much more research about hair transplants. Never go for cheap. Your precious grafts once wasted won't grow back. Look up the forum recommended doctors and their results and save up for who you would like to choose.

It's hard to tell at this point. Probably won't matter much if you grow your hair longer and comb it backward. It may look a bit unnatural when the hair is short. Only time will tell. Just to give you a perspective the below image is probably the direction in which your natural hair would have grown out. Therefore, the transplanted grafts should have the same direction and pattern.

On a second look, I can spot few grey hairs in the before pics. True, it has just started to grey out.

Wow...One of the best from Eugenix. Temple points look incredible. Cannot get more natural than this.🤩 But it's certainly dark brown hair and not grey as given in the description.

Could you mention which clinic and which doctor did your surgery? I see no whorl pattern constructed on the crown. The grafts are all planted in rows!

All the packages have Drs. involved. A surgery without a doctor's involvement is unacceptable. An elite clinic like Eugenix wouldn't compromise on that. You're in good hands.

What did I just read!! 😳😳 If this is a genuine question being asked and not another troll post, I seriously hope you are diligent enough to take in the sage advice that the rest of the guys here have given. But seeing this post raises doubts in my mind. Nevertheless, we can at best plead you to listen to us and start doing extensive research about HTs asap. We have nothing in it for us. We are just trying to save you from the disaster that's likely gonna happen if you continue on your way!

I think something really can be done with the crown as well with your remaining donor should you will to give more from your beard. If you have good body hair, those can be thrown into the mix as well.

I would go with Eugenix because they have shown numerous times that they can achieve more with less. I also like Dr. Suneet Soni's work. But I've also seen failed cases from his clinic that don't surface out. Also, do mind that his FUT scars stretch out with time which can be problem. You cannot trust any other clinic in India over Eugenix when it comes to yield. They just blow everyone out of the picture. I believe they can give you what you need without compromising your donor resources for future and without needing to go the FUT route.

There is no way a surgeon can implant grafts into that frontal region without damaging the native hairs. Dr. Arika is absolutely right. To be safe, ideally the distance between the existing follicles should be at least 3 mm to add a graft in between without jeopardizing the survival of those follicles.

It is very hard to say when the efficacy of finasteride will wane off. People who have shown signs of aggressive baldness at young age have retained their hair for a long long time being on the drug and in some cases never lost any ground at all like in @MazAB's case. But there are also some who have lost ground within 2-3 years. For some it isn't even enough to halt the progression. So it's case sensitive. The better long term option is to continue on fin and when you're sure that it isn't as effective as it used to be, you can through in one day of dut 0.5 per week along with the fin to see how it works. Do plan all actions with the consultation and under supervision of a doctor.

My telogen effluvium, which also a form of shock loss due to some trauma, lasted for 6 months. Considering donor hair effluvium is something similar I wouldn't be too surprised if it continues for 6 months. However, he should start recovering from now and the shocked out hair should catch up to the existing hair within two months.

That clinic is literally what you would call the hell of hair transplant industry. What's done is done! You cannot bring back the grafts wasted. The only option now is to look forward and focus on other things in life for now. Leave the head be. You've an entire year of time to do extensive research about HTs and surgeons recommended in this forum and get some consultations for a repair. Use this time wisely. Wish you all the luck.

Excellent progress for just 4 months. You have to keep in mind that it is very common for the growth in different areas to be inharmonious giving rise to inconsistencies. But they all synchronise with time. You've a whole 8 months more to go. Let's reserve the judgement till then. Patience is the key.

Look if you are bent on going to Konior, then sure go ahead. He's an excellent surgeon no doubt. But if you ask me his prices are just straight up ridiculous and borderline abusive. He's not the only hairline specialist out there. You can find quality surgeons who are equally(if not more) skilled and capable of dishing out results that catch your awe. Look at some of the other forum recommended doctors and get some consultations done.

Also most people are not patient enough to do an in-depth research. They just want a quick fix solution that would magically solve their hair loss problem once and for all and end up paying heavily for such callous decisions because no such solution exists. All they end up with is botched heads and a buck load of regrets.

Eugenix doesn't do DHI. Their method is called Direct Hair Transplantation (DHT) which is published and peer reviewed. DHT is a modified form of FUE where simultaneous extraction and implantation allows the extracted grafts to have the least out of body time increasing their chances of survival.
