  1. Closely watching this report, I absolutely love the aggressive mature hairline that this Dr does. @Melvin- Moderator Is yours exactly like this? What is the CM from centre to glabella for you and for corners to eyebrow?
  2. I'm also a Dr and know this topic of hair very well but thanks for education offer. I have noticed your lack of impartial behavior when it comes to approved Drs, first time I've been here and i see it imeditely in many threads, way too defensive. Dr Reddy is great i never said anything bad just most Drs show all angles of their work without hair covering it, normal comment by me i think? I just wished to see out of interest and I'm sure many others did too. I'll leave now as i had my small touch up planned to the front thanks to this forum for options. Otherwise zero loss on top for me and I know all about illusion when I've seen these procedures done in person. Your one is decent considering the huge loss pattern. Take care!
  3. Not poor, you must be simple! If you design a hairline, it's customary to show the hairline, especially when presented by the clinic lmao. You would be confident you know how the hairline looks with this?
  4. Looks good but a little strange to show results with a combover, I prefer transparency.
  5. Yes my Dr told me this too and said better to add hair slowly, interesting the hairline grew more than behind but is still inadequate, can't figure out why and hopefully someone experienced can. I am taking finasteride for over a decade and no other loss at 40 so hopefully don't need to deal with this **** for a while after the touch up.
  6. And this is pathetic...a Dr should own up to failure (no matter the reason) and offer advice and emotional care.
  7. It is. Fact is that surgery cannot give native type hair, my own transplanted line looks slightly different to the rest of my hair in certain conditions, but gives good illusion overall ,that is what surgery should do at 50 grafts per cm2...most of your grafts have died. I don't know why you were asleep during surgery like this, I knew everything they did and we joked, laughed and watched a film. Dr Erdogan is a top surgeon but all drs can have bad results, I hope its not physiological (failure to do with your body) and that something went wrong during handling of grafts. Because then you can repair this, it will be hard as some damaged grafts may need to be removed and also scars on top and back. For now just shave and assess at month 12, I would also repair with a different Dr like Bisanga or Mwamba. Erdogan is very skilled but I see sometimes his aggressive graft approach fails.
  8. Just maturation, it's going to be a failure unless there is miracle. A 50/50 result would now have much better yield in my honest opinion so you will need more than touch up type transplant again, full works needed. I had a receding hairline with rest of my hair not balding and it was fixed very very good, but i also did small touch up recently out of choice.
  9. You could be late grower but I had what you did at month 3-4. I think something go wrong certainly but you must wait until 12-18 months for final result. I feel your sadness as money and also loss of grafts and time, all this needed to fix again and hopefully donor has reserves. Your forelock had receded very high beyond mature hairline and the graft number and hairline design was good, just bad luck can happen even with top Dr.
  10. Great work but I think when the hairline is high I like Erdogan's approach of making the corners a bit more V/mature rather than a childhood type shape. Perhaps patient wishes for this hairline and that is okay but I just had small correction and still maintained wide V shape - my forehead was nice at 6.5 cm already but NW 1.5 looks incredibly natural.
  11. When other guys think that you're still losing your corners, that's when, mind you they have hair loss so are more observing, only few comments, most say it's full hair. It's not very esthetic overall this design and since I had minimal loss, it should have been made into a flatter line or wider V which gently goes up from the beginning and corners remain same distance as mine yet it doesn't look recessed. My doctor refused this saying it's not natural but I see Erdogan makes flat or pointed V in this manner. As it is, I have some recession despite having surgery and I had all my hair except temples so i am disappointed even if the growth is good enough. You live and learn and I won't be making such mistake again.
  12. I'm going to share my story soon but here is an example of the same hairline I had made.
  13. I would not hesitate for FUT to keep a full head of hair but I started FUE as it's not aggressive loss for me. I hope never to use beard or body hair on my scalp, it's not the same in cycles or calibre but I can understand desperate situation for some.
  14. I have a full head of hair and only the hairline itself had receded, not bad for 40 but I am looking to thicken the hairline up a little extra after my first transplant.
