  1. Good to know. Thanks for the information.
  2. Yes, I will update, if I hear more. Do you have before and after pictures of your case here?
  3. Yes, I mean this Dr. Epstein: https://www.eyebrowtransplantation.com/before-and-after/eyebrow-transplantation-photos The problem is that I don't have anymore living men in my family (my dad died when I was little). Does this rule apply also when I am a female?
  4. Texan35: I also thought that the doctors does everything, but in my transplantations he just did the incisions and then the assistants do the implantation. But I also think that it is harder because they have to lay flat (what they didn't manage in my case). LaserCaps: Yes, if it is done right, the apertures are done different and also the direction where the hair grows. I live in Germany, the problem here is that they don't allow to show before and after pictures. Don't ask me why, I think this is a stupid law. So, yes, I am willing to travel. Gillenator: True, I guess they prefer big operations and not when someone comes for just a few hairs. And you are also right, my skin is already damaged because of the procedures and also lasering between the first and second. Who would you recommend?
  5. You are right, eyebrows are so much lesser hairs than HT on the head. I don't know why they are so expensive.
  6. I already had two eyebrow transplantations, which went wrong (hairs come out straight and don't lay flat on the skin). So first I thought about getting them out and inserting new ones instead, but it seems that this isn't so easy and can't be done at the same time either. So the new hairs would be placed between the other hairs.
  7. Thank you for your answer. Great to hear, that you have good results from Dr. Jeffrey Epstein. You are right, the experience from ex-patients is the best. That is why I think that before and after pictures are very important. Do you have some photos from your HT here? BTW: Here I read that the forum de-recommended him, so this is why I wanted to ask: https://longhaircareforum.com/threads/eyebrow-transplant-have-you-will-you-do-it.600955/
  8. Thanks for the answers! Gillenator: You are right, the angle is so important. I wonder why some offer eyebrow transplants if they can't get the angle right. What do you think about Dr. Epstein? He has done a lot of eyebrow transplantations, but I am a little worried because it seems that a lot of people de-recommend him here. So I would like to see some results, which leaded the people to think that he isn't good, so I can see what I can expect. Do you know where I can see them? You are right also with the second point, I wonder why they didn't take hair from the neck area or somewhere else. Is that harder to do, or why do they don't do it? Aaron1234: I will check him out. Good to hear that we all think that the angling is key.
  9. Narmak: Ha ha, you are right, also with some diamonds between them Baldinga22: $8,500 So where can I see the results of Dr. Epstein, that caused the people to not like his work?
  10. Hello! I am interested in an eyebrow transplantation, and I thought about going for this to Dr. Jeffrey Epstein. Now I read in another forum that this forum here de-recommends him. I wanted to ask why, since the other doctors that I contacted wanted much more money, so I am pretty confused. Of course someone shouldn't go to a doctor for the price but the other ones I contacted wanted 13,000 and 17,500 Dollar for the procedure and this is way more than I can afford. So I thought about going to Dr. Epstein, but then I was alarmed by the information that he is strongly not recommended here. Could you please tell me more about it? Thanks!
  11. Thanks for your answer. Yes, you are absolutely right, they weren't placed at an angle. Actually, the idea at the second transplantation was that I have to laser out the first transplants and then go for the second try. This is what I did. But the same problem happened again. And it was a horrible time for me to be walking around without any eyebrows for so much time. Which would be the best doctor for this?
  12. Hello, I have had two eyebrow transplants but the hairs stick out and do not lie against the skin like normal eyebrow hairs would do. Furthermore, the gaps are also very large and there is also a kind of "hole", a place where no hair grows. What can be done to correct this? Is it possible to make the hair closer and maybe put in more hair so that it looks denser and there are not so many gaps between the hairs? I've been asked several times why my eyebrows don't look natural and why they stick out and don't fit close to the skin. Is there any way to fix this? Somehow the hairs are also thicker/wider than normal eyebrow hairs and don't end up as thin as natural ones. Is there any way to use other hairs that are more like eyebrow hairs? Which doctor can you recommend me? I live in Berlin. Best regards Alex
  13. Hey Dutcherss! I already commented on your other post. So your eyebrows look way better than mine. Don't know if you really should get rid of them. Who was the doctor? I am searching one.
  14. Hello Dutcherss! Did you find a solution to your problem? I also had two eyebrow transplantations and they look very unnatural sticking out instead of laying on the skin. I tried with laser but they came back. Where did you do it and can you recommend a doctor?
