hello guys i just post upload some photos i am 9 months post op. i am sattisfied with the result so far. my main concern is that there are still some bad angled grafts from my previous h.t on my corners. also there are some grafts below my hairline on my right corner from my previous bad h.t. any advise about what i can do with the ''bad'' grafts? please feel free to comment.

hello guys, i had 2780 grafts, dr rahal didn't remove all the bad grafts to avoid scarring because these grafts are very low on my hairline. he said that in a second small session he can remove them. i will wait for the one year mark and then i will do something about these grafts. i am trying to be optimistic. my goal is to remove all these bad grafts and have a natural looking hairline. hopefully after that,i can find my peace because i have suffered a lot and spent much money the last years.

hi guys,thanks for the comments. i posted some new photos on my album. i am now almost 1 month post op. the crusts have gone. only some white 'things' are still in my hair. when i massage the grafted area in the shower i see a lot of grafts on my finger,this is normal,isn't it? i think everything is allright. AJKV,i think dr rahal removed the previous grafts with fue.is there any other way? as you can see in my photos the red dots were the grafts were removed are fading away. dr rahal told me that there are left 100 grafts to be removed in the future.easy and small procedure as he said. he said he can recommend to me a doctor in europe so that i don't have to go all the way to canada again.(i am from greece). but if the result is good i can go back to canada by swimming! guys after the 1st month,should i keep applying polysporin oinment to the scar?

guys, thank you very much for the replies. i am back from dr rahal. i had 2780 grafts on the frontal 1/3. dr rahal removed many of the previous grafts on my corners and removed my previous scar and now i have one fine scar with trico-closure. i have 3500 grafts left on my donor area. i hope the result will be good like many dr rahal patients. i would like to thank dr rahal,adrian and all the technicians. they were very friendly. i will post photos the following months to show you my progress. feel free to ask anything. thanks again guys!

well guys,the time has come for me. in few hours i must be at the airport in order to get on the plane for ottawa. i would like to say a big "thank you" to the members of this forum and to Bill of course. although i don't post so regularly (because my english are not so good), i visit this forum everyday. all the posts and the information have been very helpfull . as you see in the photos i am a repair patient and i hope dr rahal will improve my situation. i am anxious and excited the same time. thanks again guys,this is my last post pre op. see you on the other side! p.s. a big thank you to the greek members of this forum who have been very supportive and helpfull (comb,kaounis,etc.).

the 1st h.t was from an unknown doctor in greece. you are right ,i was very young and i was not well informed. that made me an ideal victim-patient. the 2nd was with DHI Athens. my goal was to add density to the frontal and midscalp area and to remove some grafts from the corners.they just did nothing.AVOID DHI ATHENS fortunately,i found this site. i am on propecia,minoxidil and shampoo with ketoconozale for 7 months. i hope dr rahal can repair the damage. i know it's my fault and i regret it everyday. wish me luck guys because i need it.

i had 2 poor hair transplants. in order to repair the damage,i have scheduled a surgery with dr rahal on 14 july 2009.

hey clint , your result is good for only 4 months. if you can post some better pictures so that we can see your progress better. what about the scar? i am from greece and i have scheduled a surgery with dr rahal in summer. i hope all the best for you clint. good growth!!

guys thanks a lot for the info. i contacted adams airport inn and booked a room. do you recommend to stay in ottawa for 2 weeks so that dr rahal remove the stiches? did you wear the surgical hat or a baseball cap when you return to your home? comb ,eida to blog sou,fenete poli kali douleia. makari na pane ola kala file.

hello guys i have finally made my decision. 14 july 2009 is the date of the surgery with dr rahal. i would be grateful if you could help me with some details: what is the weather in ottawa on july? does adams airport inn have an email address so that i can come in touch with them? i didn't find any email address on adams airport inn website. am i allowed to order by phone food from my hotel room?i think there is a restaurant near adams airport inn but i would prefer not to get out of my hotel room after my h.t. can i use my european charger for my cellphone? because i think europe and u.s.a/canada have some difference about electricity? sorry if my questions are silly. i hope you understand my questions. thanks...

hi shanksfullhair i had a procedure last summer with dhi athens.(fue) i paid for 3000 grafts and after almost a year only 3 grafts have grown. my advise is to stay away from dhi athens. i am sorry for my english as i am from greece.

hello guys. i know there are many topics about graft removal but i still have a question. i had a bad h.t. in my corners. the result is: 1)low density 2)3 and 2 hair/grafts 3)the placement is too low. in addition the area until mid scalp is quite thin. my question is: when grafts are removed from a specific area, can NEW grafts be placed to this area? (i don't mean the grafts that have beeen removed). OR when grafts are removed from a specific area ,the area needs time to heal and the h.t. should be done some months later. correct me if i am wrong but i think some patients had some grafts removed and in the same session the doctor placed new grafts in the area where the old grafts were. guys i am very very sorry for my english .

hi ivyleaguer i had a procedure with dhi athens last summer. (3000 grafts fue). the result is 0% growth. don't make the mistake i did. there are many good doctors mentioned on this site(hasson,rahal,feller,shapiro...). start your research.

hello guys thanks very much for your response i would like to ask you what was the reason you chose dr rahal? unofficially i have booked a surgery date with dr rahal and in a couple of days i must send an email to adrian to confirm it. i have done my research for almost a year. the fact that i had a previous bad procedure makes me anxious because i can't afford emotionally another bad result. did you have any fear in your mind when you booked with dr rahal although he is a good surgeon? i hope you understand what i mean. thanks guys again for your support.

guys , before you book a surgery with dr rahal , did you ask from adrian to send you pics from other patients? are they allowed to send pics?
