  1. Work looks great and your YouTube channel is awesome! I also have very similar fue scarring as you. I was surprised because my skin is so white and yet the the scars were somehow whiter. I think most guys that had a fue procedure would be surprised to see how hypopigmented their scarring is if they shaved their head. I use a derminator 2 to micro needle my hairline and temples and decided to experiment on my donor area. After using it three times a month for about 4 months it actually did reintroduce some pigment into my fue scars. The scars are still there but they are improved.
  2. I’m sorry to hear what you are going thru. I have seen some incredible repairs done by the elite doctors. I am not privy to your exact situation but I am convinced that as long as you have donor hair available whether it be from the scalp, beard or chest that your situation is not hopeless. You just have to readjust your expectations. It sounds like you started on this journey many years ago with the original expectation of restoring a very dense youthful hairline. For whatever reason that unfortunately didn’t work out. So now the goal just just be naturalness and normalizing your scalp and with an ethical doctor it will be a multi stage process. I hope you get this sorted out.
  3. Don’t stress out. This can be fixed but you need to go to a top doctor who is experienced with repairs.@JohnAC71gave you a great list of doctors to consult with. I would really recommend Dr. Bisanga and Dr. Feriduni due to their experience with repairs. They may want to punch out some of those thick grafts in the front of your hairline before rebuilding it with finer hairs from your donor. Your donor area looks great in those pictures but it’s hard to judge if it’s damaged or not because the hair is long.
  4. Out of all the horribly unethical clinics in Turkey the OP decided to bash one of the only good doctors there who has consistently put out good results over many years. Kind of odd.
  5. This 10 day post op photo just shows absolutely PERFECT graft distribution and angle placement. Congrats to you and the doctor.
  6. In my opinion the goal of a hair transplant or any cosmetic surgery for that matter is to not look like you’ve had anything done. Many of these Turkish clinics obviously don’t have that mindset and their ambition when drawing up hairlines doesn’t match their skill level. If I was in your shoes and you have a strong beard eugenix would definitely be a top choice. You can utilize beard grafts to fill in your mid scalp. I would get those chunky grafts in the front of your hairline punched out and implanted further back and then utilize finer hairs above your ears to create a softer look in the hairline.
  7. Unfortunately most doctors are too busy to be doing free in person consultations. But I also don’t think it’s right to charge exorbitant fees for it. $50-100 should be enough to spend an hour with a prospective patient that’s interested in doing a life altering procedure with you. Virtual consultations would probably be your best best in that regard even though it would be better to have your donor evaluated in person, get an idea of what kind of hairline the doctor would want to draw up for you and get a feel for the doctor in general to see if you “click.” It’s tough with how much many US doctors charge for it and even tougher with changes after COVID.
  8. Those are definitely two of the top docs in my opinion. They check all the marks as far as consistently great patient posted results. They also are excellent at managing the donor area. I haven’t seen one case of over-harvested fue extractions or bad scarring due to large punches from either doctor. Melvin just interviewed each of them on Instagram if you haven’t seen the videos. Very good interviews.
  9. 1. It doesn’t matter which doctor you go to if you shave your head you should be prepared to see scarring whether it’s FUT or FUE. How bad the scars are depend mostly on the surgeons skills and also your own physiology. 2. The downside to having a great HT while not on meds is continually losing more hair. So you need to be mentally prepared to have multiple surgeries if that happens. 3. Most ethical doctors won’t consider doing surgery on someone until they are at least 25, especially if they aren’t on meds. Some won’t operate at all on a patient not on meds. So you’re at the right age at 25 to consider it. But that doesn’t mean it’s less risky. My brother lost the majority of his hair after he turned 30 for example. It’s all about measuring risk. I recommend you do a lot more research on this forum. Not just the incredible cases but the ones that didn’t turn out well with poor growth and bad scarring or continued hair loss. Once you’re cut, your cut.
  10. First of all good job on getting on the meds early to see if you can tolerate them and stabilize your loss. And good job not rushing in to surgery and seeking advice here. The one piece of advise I can tell you so far from my research here is don’t just limit yourself to thinking you want FUE only. What is more important is your choice of surgeon. Bad FUE scarring with the wrong clinic is much worse then a paper thin strip taken out from an elite doctor. I have been impressed by Dr. Wesleys work but I wish there were more patient posted threads which is what you really need to rely on. Also, nothing against the way he publishes his results but I value clinics that post post op photos of the graft placement and donor areas. Since you are in jersey you should schedule in person consults with Dr. Wesley, True & Dorin and also Dr. Bloxham who is pro FUT just to compare opinions before deciding on whether to start with FUE and FUT. After that if you are confident you want FUE you should trust your gut and go with one of those doctors or be willing to travel anywhere to say Dr. Nadimi in Chicago or even Dr. Bisanga in Belgium for example. Good luck. You seem like a smart guy so I’m betting you’ll make a good decision.
  11. You look great with the buzz cut it suits you. If this last surgery grows in well then you can grow your hair out and feel confident. Worst case scenario it doesn’t grow well then you can keep rocking this look and forget about any more surgeries. The smp did a great job as I don’t see any scars and no way anyone in the real world would have any idea you had three surgeries done. You were dealt a shitty hand with the male pattern baldness gene but you gotta count your blessings in that as a Caucasian you look good with a buzzed head and have a nice head shape to do it and you can also grow a nice beard. Me? I got the male pattern baldness with an ugly shaped head I can’t buzz down and I can’t grow a nice beard at all. You gotta try to look at the positives.🤷‍♂️
  12. Great result! Very natural looking! Do you have immediate post op photos?
  13. Incredible result and there’s still room for improvement!
  14. You had a lot of real estate to cover and were always going to need more then 1 surgery to reach your goal. Don’t beat yourself up you’ll still get there. You’ve been given good advice by some of the guys here. The only thing I’ll add is you need to grow your hair out to get coverage! You’re not doing yourself any favors shaving it down at nine months post op when the grafts are still maturing and exposing your scar which healed really good by the way.
  15. I agree this doesn’t look good. I think you should go see a dermatologist.
