  1. Congratulations, really excited to see your progress
  2. I had the first procedure at Euegenix with the highest package for 1050 grafts, second procedure with HLC for 833 grafts. I think a mixture of low grafts used and poor growth rate led me to this below avg result; I am thankful though for the natural hairs, no real pluggy look or multi grafts just a weird thinning patter and lack of density. I've talked to Nader but found his results above average at best and inconsistent. Based on some results posted on another forum I also found his temple work to be pretty poor sometimes, I feel like people justify him for the logistics and value. Out of all the latin doctors I think im going to go with either Couto or Pinto, i'm still not sure which is better for my case I have to check which one does better temple points, softer hairlines, scarring results and so on. I even talked to Fuegenix but they were over double my budget while Zarev has a 3 year waitlist just for the mandatory consultation which increased from 150 euro to 500 euros. I would have really liked to go with him but waiting 3 years to travel internationally just for a consult and then wait another 1-2 years for a procedure is just such a tough pill to swallow. If you have any other clinics who you think can give me great results please do comment.
  3. Yeah i kind of came to the same conclusion, im glad I didn't listen to HLC and get those temples removed and redone, I found them to be pretty ok overall. Its just the camera quality cant pick up the lack of density, and since I'm going to get my hairline done might as well add the necessary 100 or so grafts needed to make them look natural. Im not asking for any forward graft placement, just density to the existing hairline and removing/rounding out the widows peak they added. I'm just looking for clinics that specialize in the hairline and I'm willing to wait 2+ years on a waiting list no problem. I'm on .25 mg finasteride and have no recession to speak of and am planning for low graft usage to conserve for any future need. Although I don't have a pluggy looking transplant, I think it's very clear that I haven't had a successful result either and am really looking for a clinic that can finish the job and do it correctly.
  4. Hello everyone, I'm looking to get hair transplant done for my hairline and temple points and have some light rework done. I've had two previous fue hair transplant procedures with reputable clinics, both with lackluster results. The first procedure was a total of 1050 grafts and was done to my hairline and temple points. The growth rate was very poor for the hairline and some density/ light rework is necessary for my temples. Due to a very poor experience at that clinic I declined a repair there and opted to go to Turkey. Due to poor miscommunication between the doctors and office staff, they refused to work on my temple points as previously promised and only worked on hairline. This procedure came out to 880 grafts or so which was not enough to get an adequate amount of density. Beyond that, they added a widows peak in typical Turkish clinic fashion, which is something I want removed to help round out the hairline to a more natural shape. In total about 1950 grafts were used so I am hoping for a procedure that doesn't use up too many grafts. I have been quoted anywhere from 600 to 1500 grafts. I'm looking to getting some temple density/light rework done, the "point" of the widows peak removed/rounded out, and some density added to my hairline- specifically the central part of the hairline. I have a budget of around 18K and am willing to wait 2 years for a transplant, I now unfortunately understand through experience how misguided "value propositions" in hair transplants can be so I am really only looking at going to the best clinics and getting this procedure done once and for all. I have talked to multiple clinics and am specifically looking for natural hairline results, reserved hairline design, and good temple work. I have talked to a dozen clinics ranging from Dr. Nader to Fuegenix and have narrowed it down to Dr. Pinto or Dr. Zarev (although Dr. Zarev has not responded to any of my contact attempts, any help on getting in touch with him would be appreciated). Really hoping to brainstorm with this forum on good clinics and thank you for any help.
  5. Crazy good results. How long did you wait to get smp done on your recipient area? How long would it be ok to get it done on your donor? Also do you think smp would be good for work on the side corners of an fue if it wasnt dense?
  6. Wow crazy results, thinking about getting this done. You do have to shave for smp on your donor sight correct? I wonder if you can smp temporal points as well, one side of mine is pretty botched.
  7. Great results, would you say HLC offers the best hairline work in Turkey?
  8. Hey do you mind taking a look at my results? im actually nearing the 12 month mark and am hoping for some guidance/comparison between our results.
  9. Any updates on progress? Do you mind getting close up shots of the hairline and temple points? How was the hairline design process like at the clinic?
  10. Also looking for an update, would like to know If my case is an isolated incident
  11. Amazing progress. Very different from mine. I wonder what lifestyle differences could have caused that.
  12. Yes again im hoping im just in a slower growth phase. Just looking at everyone elses progress coming along so much faster and having their hairline and density form has me a little disheartened but Im still hopeful and reserve full judgement until that 10-12 month mark.
  13. Im about a month ahead of you but dont even half your density. Fingers-crossed im following a slower growth pattern that you mentioned.
