  1. I have, they are of the opinion the result is pretty good.
  2. I dont think i have the expertise to evaluate that. There are certain areas in the back of the transplanted area that don't look as full as they did from the initial transplant imo.
  3. Yea thats true. I think I perhaps had kind of fooled myself into thinking I hadn't lost as much as I had bc I actually had a really convincing combover. Hasson and one of the other consultants was shocked when they actually started moving my hair around. Hasson even said that it was the most convincing he had ever seen, which is guess is a complement lol.
  4. Their initial estimate was about 4k or so, but the area of my head is actually larger than average
  5. Hasson said I had another 5k left, but personally I don't know if I would do another surgery. The time and anxiety were a lot for me
  6. I am on finasteride and I do topical minoxidil. I also realize that I have significant thinning beyond transplanted area, but that was prior to surgery (you can see in first post). i was mostly concerned with how my hair frames my face and not as concerned with crown/mid scalp.
  7. I will say the hair is difficult to style with product without looking thin
  8. Hello, sorry for the long wait. I've included my month 9 photos. My hair isn't styled at all with the non transplanted hair pulled back in the pics bc I wanted to get a good look at what was happening. Also included 2 pics from about 2 weeks after surgery for comparison.
  9. Had FUE with Dr. Hasson approximately 6 months ago. My result thus far doesn't look as spectacular as some posted on the H&W website timelines but been told by clinic my result is typical and there's still time to improve; hopeful that is the case. I only had the mid scalp and front area restored and left the crown as is.
  10. I just completed 3 months post fue and I'm really not seeing any growth and I'm starting to get worried. Should I be or am I just worrying for nothing?
  11. Just scheduled my procedure with Dr. Hasson. Feeling extremely anxious now that it's on the calendar even though I have been thinking about hair transplant for at least the last 5 years.
  12. Yep, my hair loss was pointed out by others before I noticed in my early 20s. I was in denial about it for years, and didn't start fin until my early 30s out of 1 shame to talk about it to a doctor and 2 fear about the side effects/commitment of taking a pill for the rest of my life. In hindsight, I see I was being totally irrational, but honestly so much was going on in my life from starting college at 21 to starting my first professional job in my mid 20s there was always something else to focus on and delay action.
  13. Is your loss concentrated or is it more diffuse? Depending you might want to consider scalp micropigmentation SMP, it can fill in the gaps somewhat and avoid surgery. Whatever your decision I wish you luck.
  14. I've done online consults with a few different places and I have generally gotten feedback that I will need around 3500 grafts to restore my hairline and mid scalp. I'm 33 now and am probably a norwood 4. My father is a norwood 6. I am deciding between doing fue with eugenix or fut with hasson and wong. I'm worried about a scar but also read that fue depletes total available donor area. I've also read that an fut scar can be masked with SMP. What is everyone's opinion.
  15. Agree with above, it's too early to tell. Also, after surgery its always going to look like too much so try not to worry
