The how come I am seeing FU's in the shower? Possibly fallen out before and was stuck in my hair? I don't know but it's rather depressing.

I dont know but at least 4 Fu's that I know of fell out during the shower since post op. I am still using a sponge after 2 weeks post op. This one looks old and I didnt see any bleeding on my scalp. But I saw 2 hairs with a whitish tissue surrounding it and at the end is a dark bulb with old blood. I don't know whats going on but I am getting sad :-(. I know this is not normal. What is going on? P.S. This is always happening to the left side of my scalp where I said before the other tech placed the grafts.

Hello, I have another question. It's been over a week since post-op and my grafts are healing fast. Some of the grafts broke off and is still continue to grow longer after breakage. My doctor says 1-2 weeks the initial transplanted graft will fall out. Some information: Today is 9th day Post-Op I'm 27 years old and I am not balding at all. I got HT to refine my hairline. My initial grafts are growing longer really fast after breakage. My questions are: Does age effect how fast we heal? Is it possible that someone can actually keep these initial grafts for life? If I ever by mistake pull out a hair that was transplanted (5+ months post op) will it grow back like the rest of my hairs on my head? Thank you.

Ok as my scalp heals I begin to see the healing clearer as the blood and crusts gets removed after each shower. I noticed this big graft consisting of more than 3 hairs sticking out and it is pretty thick, and this graft still hurts when i touch it. It kind of looks like this ||| <-hairs [|] <- white thing [|] <- white thing --- <-scalp It's maybe 4 times the size of normal grafts. could it be possible that the tech didn't insert the graft in all the way? I'm sure it wasnt pulled out by me because I saw this thing first day post OP but there was so much blood and crust I though it was just a huge graft. I think the tech on my right side did a better job than the tech on my left side when they were planting grafts. Right side has less shedding and the left side a lot of hairs are breaking off. :\

I smoke cigs; so does that mean my healing is prolonged and I should wait till day 12? :0(

I saw some peoples blogs and on the 5-6th day they didn't have any crusts. Is it normal to have crusts on every graft day5 p.o.? Am I not washing aggressively enough? Thanks

Well to be honest girlfriends come and go while I hope my transplanted hair is forever.

my girlfriend wanted to make me feel better although the whole procedure was painless. I guess I can't laugh about it like how you people are until a year later when I see it didn't compromise my results. cheers!

I'm not bragging :-) Another question and this is very unusual and I even asked my doctor and he said it was impossible and I don't see him until next week for another follow up. 2 of my transplated grafts are growing so fast it is about half an inch right now and considering I'm only 5th day Post op how can this be possible? I don't think it's a bad thing but I have been reading up on HT's for the past 6 months before i decided to get the procedure and I have never heard grafts growing at accelerated rates 5th day post op.

OK my doc said no physical activities for at least a week which means no sex. I was given oral sex day 2 post op via FUE 1k grafts, I didn't think it was anything until I read somewhere on the internet that that could be bad for the grafts because the blood rushes to your head when you ejaculate. Today is the 5th day post op and I noticed 2 transplanted grafts breaking off incompletely. What I mean by incompletely is that I can see a black hair stub under the skin. P.S. I also had a few ciggerettes post OP, but I asked my doc if I could smoke and he said he rather me didnt but it won't effect my grafts if I really need to smoke. Could I have damaged my grafts by being reckless?
