  1. Are you only looking for crown work or hairline work? If it's just crown work... You might be able to get by with fewer grafts and afford a clinic charging even 1.5-2 euro per graft. If you want hair line and crown work then... don't get botched lol
  2. I don't think the temple peaks are that bad in the sense that while Dr. Hasson brought forward the temple peak more than what was agreed upon, he only added a small triangle which tapers in almost immediately to the originally discussed hairline. So instead of having the temple peaks brought forward a cm all the way up to the hairline, it's only a tiny triangle that was added so it almost seems like artistic license though obviously not what was discussed. Basically, it conforms to your original hairline with maybe a tiny 1cm on all sides triangle of hair added. Even then, I'm kinda curious since ~500 grafts for just a tiny bit more grafts to the temple points seem a bit excessive. I feel like at least half of them ended up elsewhere
  3. If you've got a thinning crown and diffuse thinning, you're probably not a NW2-3. If you have diffuse thinning then your pattern includes the diffuse loss.
  4. Yeah I also had these thoughts so I booked a monday date
  5. At 3 euro, I'm taking a look at Spain and Portugal. Other parts of Europe as well possibly.
  6. I think my girlfriend has the same phone case. Just kidding, hairline design looks great. Good luck man
  7. I think they also want me to send payments to two different bank accounts depending on which of the 3 payments is being made.
  8. Kinda weird to hear that hairline density is only ~50/cm^2. I always thought native density was like 80/cm^2 or something like that.
  9. That's been my experience. Though I've only made one payment thus far. If you're into churning credit cards, you can use some of those payments to instantly hit the rewards for a specific card if you use something like transferwise.
  10. You probably want to get on meds since you have a lot of miniaturized hair that can be saved Nah, hair is just keratin. Like nails. Cutting your nails doesn't stop your nails from growing anymore than cutting your hair stops your hair from growing. If only that were the case, my girlfriend wouldn't complain that I have toenails like a cassowary Balding/receding sucks for everyone man. I consider myself boyishly handsome so in a way it's like being rich and then having it taken away from you. 1. NW scale is kinda weird in that people talk about diffuse loss differently. I've seen someone with diffuse loss through the entire scalp consider themselves NW2/NW3 which makes no sense to me. But yeah, I'd say NW5 but diffuse norwood 5 - you're in a good situation in the sense that you're not slick bald and still have a lot of hair to save. 2. Depends how much progress you make on drugs. I think there's a lot of potential for you to reverse some loss and thicken your existing hairs. If I had to guess, 4-5k? It really depends on the approach the doctor takes as well since some will break it up into multiple stages 3. Not really mandatory. Some will operate on you without drugs but you really have a ton of hair to save. 4. Probably anyone on the recommended list. I like Hasson & Wong for bigger cases but there are a lot of great ones.
  11. There are tools you can use that let you try on different hair style but I'm not sure if there's any that let you customize thing like temple points and the like
  12. I've seen FUE on some very high norwoods and it looks great too. I don't think you're forced to go down the FUT route. I'm not saying that you should do FUE or FUT, but rather that the tradeoffs don't necessitate you do FUT
  13. It probably falls under the A classification. i.e. 3A/4A/5A. But the loss goes way deep from the pictures and he's got miniaturization throughout the entire midscalp. For sure that's gotta be like a 4A/5A though probably they're treating it like a 3A since the rest can be addressed with fin
  14. Also, I just want to say - 31 w/ NW3 isn't that bad honestly. Though I guess it is a negative that you're a NW3 with fin/min in the sense that with fin/min mitigating you're still NW3. Are you sure you need FUT? What did the doctors say?
  15. Training Linkov is a negative. Dude is a part-time hair transplant surgeon part-time all purpose plastic surgeon and full time clickbait youtuber
  16. It kills two birds with one stone man. You get hair on your head and you don't have to shave your nuts (or your ass). Sadly, my hair is straight as an arrow
  17. Hispanic hair is really hard to define imo. Hispanics are kinda weird in that they're more of a mixed race. I've seen some hispanics who on first glance are legit just black people and can grow a full on afro. And then some I've seen with blonde hair and blue eyes and perfectly straight hair. I would say that there isn't one definitive "hispanic" hair type like you might think there is with Asians... Not that Asians have a definitive hair type either which says a lot since they all seem to have thick straight black hair... But I've seen Asian girls who have naturally frizzy curly hair and others with hair that is so thick and straight you could get a splinter from them
  18. Hair loss isn't the same for everyone. His situation is different from yours. A NW7 on fin is way different than a NW2.5 on fin. He sounds established (with a job) and like he's older than 22. Under 25, hair loss is more unpredictable and probably aggressive too. If you're losing a ton at 22, chances are it might be a bit aggressive His hair loss is primarily the crown which is much more receptive to fin than the hairline. Most studies of fin show that it works best on the crown for the purposes of regrowth. Not sure about maintaining the crown vs maintaining the hairline but I imagine that the crown is just more receptive to fin.
  19. You mean like a forehead reduction surgery? Generally a bad idea cause you'll have a horizontal scar across your hairline.
  20. Pretty sure Dr. G is not being recommended by this forum? Maybe some posters? I think people generally recommend Dr. Bicer for budget but quality work.
  21. Yeah I'm not doubting that your grandfather had hair loss down the line. I'm saying that it's no guarantee that you're following down his foot steps. There's a billion guys who have a NW2/NW3 at age 32. And I mean that literally (as in there probably is a billion guys with that level of balding at that age). You can't really prove that you have the same hair loss as your grandfather as opposed to maybe any number of family members who also have had a NW2-3. Also, mother's father is kind of a myth in that it's not the only (or major) indicator that you will be bald. Baldness comes from both sides of the family. Even accounting for genetics, gene expression isn't guaranteed to be the same. You could have lived a very stressful life (or the opposite) and greatly accelerated your loss. And that's not accounting for the fact that probably millions of guys follow that same trajectory being that NW2/NW3 are probably the most common hair loss patterns in the world and the fact that most men start noticing their hair loss in their late 20's/early 30's. Sure, your grandfather was a NW2 at whatever age, but there are hundreds of millions of guys who are also a NW2 in the age range of 25-35. It really doesn't mean that much imo So what I'm saying more or less is that you have an incredibly common pattern and you can't really draw any further conclusions from it other than you're a NW2/NW3 at 32. Anything beyond that (i.e. your grandfather) is just speculation. The only way to put that speculation to rest is to have a doctor examine you for miniaturization and that would be a much better indicator of where you're heading than looking at your mom's dad. Alternatively, you could try it yourself - I've heard you can buy a microscope off Amazon and check for miniaturization that way...
