  1. I had a hair transplant two years ago in Europe. The result hadn't worked out as I had expected and in all honesty I was disappointed with the extent of the growth of my hair. I'd had 3000 grafts and my hair was better than pre transplant but the density was still a problem - especially under light. It was then that I booked an appointment for a consultation with Farjo London to consider my options for a second transplant. From the onset I was impressed with how my enquiry was handled and the highly knowledgeable, yet personable, representative on the phone. I felt at ease immediately and felt confident that my consultation would be worthwhile. It indeed turned out to be - but not in the way that I might have envisaged..... On meeting the Farjo surgeon I was instantly impressed with the care and depth of consultation. I was able to have my previous transplant scar assessed fully and the quality of the transplant. Questions that I had previously had were answered there and then as there were no language barriers or long distance call and there is no substitute for in an person consultation rather than an online one.... The surgeon carefully inspected me for the transplant but then noticed hair growth irregularity on the side of my scalp. And also a loss of facial hair. He asked me about this. He then explained to me that he believed I had a rare form of aggressive alopecia...one that would render a hair transplant impossible. Not only did this explain a cause as to why my transplant hadn't taken to a greater density but, more importantly, enabled me to take action by seeing a specialist so as to try to prevent further extensive hair loss through this condition. I was not able to undergo a transplant with Farjo due to this pre-existing condition. They had properly screened me. I'm grateful and thankful that their surgeon was so careful and experienced. I would wholeheartedly have gone with them if I'd have been a candidate for surgery. In a shot. I would certainly advocate investing properly in a hair transplant. If you are reading this and are choosing your hair surgeon bear in mind that contact with overseas surgeons is not the same as having one in your home country. Whilst price might be a consideration - and understandably so - this is not a surgery to half invest in. Your scalp is precious. Had I not gone to Farjo I could have been in a very different position with regards to my remaining hair and retaining it. At least now I have some chance rather than none as I would have carried on otherwise regardless. To this extent I am recommending Farjo and with gratitude.
