  1. I think you're going to have a great result. Looking forward to 3-4 months out and seeing pics.
  2. Keep us posted - were all rooting for you. Bet this result is going to be great and can't wait to see your pics as it grows in.
  3. Would love to see an update. Hope you are doing well!
  4. Great update WDC! Looks really good to me, and as you mentioned, Wesley doesn't require the recipient area to be shaved so this should blend in nicely (and a lot sooner) for you. Any comments from him about the front and density from the first procedure? Think this is going to look really good in a few months time!
  5. washingtondc, let us know how things went since your proc was yesterday i believe? You had 2,200 grafts i believe so maybe another 800 or so in the initial procedure might have given additional thickness? Just looking for some experienced folks to chime in - although Melvin I just re read your post talking about his fine hair making a second procedure almost inevitable. Is this a common issue for this Dr.? His work looks really good in other cases i have seen. Wishing you all the best WashDC! Thanks!
  6. Having my first FUE this May. Will be roughly 1,500 into front scalp/hairline area. Will need a second procedure for the crown area. How long should I wait before the second procedure? Is it a minimum of 6 months or can it be less?
  7. Dan - Im a fellow MetroWest resident like you. Reading your thread Im happy to see you got growth from your first procedure. Your donor area looks good to me also. I live near Wellesley, Mass and I have never heard of the Dr. you used. Like others, I came to realize that the best USA HT docs are not in Boston. They are mainly in NYC and Chicago area. NYC - Dr Dorin & also Carlos Wesley, who is highly regarded in this forum. His work is posted here and top notch Chicago - Dr Konior is the HT OG as previously mentioned. Dr Nadimi is at the same practice, having learned from Konior and using his same techs...she is also very very good. Just look at the results posted here on the site and you will see for yourself. A great HT doctor is a great artist and technician - making it look natural and as dense as realistically possible. AKA the "illusion of density" If you are already working with Dorin, he is very good. Plus, he has an office where he does consults in downtown Boston, in addition to his office in NYC. Im traveling to Chicago in May for an FUE with Nadimi. All of the names I have mentioned here have a lot of Boston area patients. I wish you well brother - keep us posted on your next steps! Also, dont drive to NY - just take Acela from Westwood MA station! The traffic around Hartford will be a killer...just take the train.
  8. Just wanted to add I find it interesting that no MA or New England based Docs (not ones who have a NYC base Like Dorin) are mentioned or recommended here. We have to go to IL, NYC or West coast (or Canada) for the good docs, which I'm okay with and I will be doing in 2022. It appears we don't have a Konior, Nadimi, Wesley, Wong, etc in this region.
  9. Interesting rankings. Konior/Nadhimi should be higher but im interested to see what everyone says here.
  10. Thanks Melvin and Dr Kokhar - appreciate your counsel here. Like to wear my hair shorter so FUE would be perfect.
  11. Obviously Raymond Konior is the top surgeon in the US. How close is Wesley? Konior is at least a year wait for FUE. What would you recommend if you wanted to have an FUE within next 6 months. Wesleys wait is shorter. Are they close talent wise or miles apart? Wesley seems very good, also an artist like Konior. BUT Konior has has a year's wait for a reason. Cost isn't a factor, just want a great FUE. Thoughts?
