- I am pretty happy with the results so far. But I feel my crown is still lacking. Also when it comes to the hairline there are plenty of multi grafts present.
I’ve decided to booked with Dr, Turan this coming July to help increase density specifically for the front third and crown.
- If someone where to ask me if I would recommend Dr, Yaman. My answer would be a yes. I feel for high Norwood patients 4+ he’s really good especially for that price point. His hairline work is lacking, definitely not as refined compared to the likes of top surgeons who are priced at +2 euro per graft.
when it comes to the beard- Mustache transplant. I would not recommend it. When looking at the mustache specifically the middle the transplanted hairs look off compared to my native mustach hair (Look at the angles of the hair).
so final verdict:
hair transplant 8.5/10
beard transplant 6/10
Have Dr.Turan said anything about how he will address the multigrafts in the hairline? What about the area around the crown?
I think the only good thing with Yaman is the price and that he is cheap. Plenty of clinics in just turkey is better than him and even will give better result for the Norwood 4+ people.
Hopefully you can update us to the end of your surgery with Dr Turan

I think the little thing you're missing is some temple work to match the hairline- 1

I haven't consulted with them or have any intention to. I've heard back from Bicer, Yaman and Demirsoy. FUECAPILAR should be responding back in a couple of days. Those are pretty much the only doctors in Turkey I would consider and possibly Kayihan Sahinoglu.
I understand. You do you but those two doctors are above those doctors you have consulted. Good luck

Another clinic is out for me. Miami Hair Institute quoted me for 1600-1800 grafts and it was $8 per graft for their FUE procedure so I was looking at anywhere between $12,800 and $14,400 for a transplant. No thanks.
have you heard with pekiner and keser yet?

I think it should be a mix between beard hairs and donor hairs to make it look natural and good. You can look at Gatsby and karl (from Eugenix I think). Your donor are really weak so he will mostly use beard hair. Idk I would have continued with the shaving and the bald look. You look good with it

I'm actually consulting them as well. They seem to be much more professional from what I've heard back from them so far. Still waiting to hear what they think.
Yeah you should also check out Dr.Pekiner and Dr.Keser. Really good doctors and works often with people on the lower Norwood as your self.

You should be on medication too such as oral minoxidil. Meaby it can help you with the thickness.
it doesn’t look dense at all and I don’t understand why you have so few grafts in the mid-scalp when you are basically bald in that area? -

How old are you and are you on medication if you don’t mind me asking? Long term planning key as with any transplant.
2500 seems on the high side to fill in the corners. Are you looking to lower the hairline also? If so I’d be very cautious about doing this too aggressively.

You should look at other options too. Eugenix is better than those clinics when it comes to Norwood 5/6. Dr Pittella is also a good option. Those doctors are more expensiv but better
good luck

I don’t know so much about Dr. Priyadarahini. But have you look at Dr.Sethi and Dr. Arika? They are the only one recommended from Eugenix

He had one, it looks bad. The guys who go to hair mills in their 20s to get a low hairline will end up like this.
Precisely. this is the nightmare of getting a low hairline

This is a really good result man. I am happy for you after what you have been going trough. You got a really good dense hair and is only 5 month.
btw I love how you show your results from all angles with good and quality images Indoors and outdoors. I think this should be the standard here when one is sharing his results here. so that the people can see the reality of the result and also that people who have no experience with HT can also see what to expect from HT and not get deceived with bad quality and dark rooms pictures.

The problem is that you are 23 years old with a diffuse thinning and your midscalp is thinning too. So is not as easy as “fixing the hairline”. Have you talked with some surgeons yet?

Below you can find 12 satisfied patients from dr yaman on this forum:
The first link you provided is a good result. That is the first good result I have seen of him. Even the 1000 clinic available in turkey get some good results.
The second link: is a result from 2018 and he just provided a update to the 6 month period and the hair was still thin. So it could either have been failure or a good result
The third link: the result is not even finished yet. He is in his 4 month post op and the result look ok so far and still thin as we should expect. We can’t judge it before the 8 month period. How is it possible to be a happy patient before the end result?
The firth link: This is still not a finished result. Last update was his 6 month update and the hairline was still thin. Basically if the hair mature it will be a good result if not - it will be a failure.
The fifth link is a guy who update his 15 days after surgery. I don’t have time to look at the other links you provided if this is your standard for what a satisfied patient is.

OK, so I uploaded a video of things kind of running my fingers through the front as close as I can get without my camera refocusing.
I think I see lots of little things here. This makes me feel hopeful - the hairs are just very small and thin still. I think I can see lots of new stuff popping through the scalp around 0:20- 0:23? This is the very "open" patch in the middle of the front of my hairline right now.
There is still a chance that i'm the world's slowest grower. If you feel like taking a peek and have time to give me thoughts, feel free.
I have also attached a much higher resolution image. IT seems like there is stuff going on..but stuff is verrrryryryry tiny. Perhaps...my story is not over yet?
Honestly I am not going to sugar coat it. It will most likely be as now. Low density area and patchy. I don’t know what you can do. I had a patchy hairline two years and is not funny at all tbh. Had to use caps a lot

Surgeon is not something easy and you should not focus on the money aspect but rather the one that can provide the best result for you.
If you can’t afford better doctors than Yaman i advice you to save more money. Money comes and goes but this will impact your life for ever. Dr.Yaman is a hair mill and not so good doctor. He should not be on the forum recommendation but that is another discussion. Go for a more safer and cheap doctors such as dr.Gur, Turan, Bicergood luck

Grafts were placed along the front to create a mature hairline and on the crown. Will probably be needing more on the top of the head between both of those parts.
This can’t be 4000 grafts or? 😒
-
It looks good for 2500 grafts distributed all over your recepeint area. I am not so sure with your donor area tho. It looks like it is really small and you are a Norwood 7

Cuz I feels that I needed a bit more in the front temples area.
Then wait at least 12-15 month so you know what you are working with. And also you are giving the donor Area time to come back from the trauma and that stuff.
good luck tho and update your journey here if you can do that

Why do you want to get it 4 month after the first transplant? And did you first do it in the hairline and wand to work with the crown now or?
