Just got my blood test results back and most of my hormones fall in the normal range besides DHT and Prolactin. My LH is also slightly high. Should I use topical fin? I know it doesn't really affect LH and Prolactin but my DHT is borderline low. Or should I consider Fluridil? See pics for my hormone levels. I've taken 1mg oral finasteride (everyday) in the past and experienced side effects which is why I'm very hesitant to use it again. Planning to use 0.025% topical finasteride 3x a week for at least the first 2 months and then may move up to using it everyday.

One month post-op. Shedding begun around this stage. The lighting made it look a lot better than it actually did. ~6 weeks post-op. Shedding fully kicked in at this stage. 10 weeks post-op. Looks a lot better at this stage. Not sure if this is regrowth or my non-shedded hair just grew out. My transplanted hair definitely looks like it's starting to blend in with my existing hair. Sorry about the difference in lighting quality, it gets dark pretty early in the UK nowadays. Will be posting future photos during nightime with my room light. These photos were also taken by my selfie cam and I don't have the steadiest hands, hence the slightly blurry pics. Will update with better photos in a couple of weeks.

Would you guys recommend RU58441 instead? Side effect profile seems low anecdotally. Yeah, I'm planning to use 0.25% topical 3x a week and then move up from there. May even consider oral 0.25mg once my hair grows out. Been using oral min for the past 9 months but haven't seen any regrowth. Also visited the doctor recently who said I don't have gyno, just a bit of chest fat. Hopefully the risk of me getting gyno is low.

I'm on the verge of deciding between finasteride or RU, but I'd like to establish my baseline hormone levels before starting either treatment. Some recommendations suggest testing around 20 hormones to determine baseline levels, but this could be quite costly, especially if I plan to retest later to assess the impact of finasteride or RU. Additionally, being in the UK, it seems that only testosterone testing is available through the NHS. I've found a package from Medichecks that covers testosterone, free testosterone, estradiol, and DHT for approximately £200. Would this be sufficient, or should I consider testing other hormones as well?
