  1. The healing process was pretty painless. It’s pretty insane that the only thing Konior has you take post op is OTC pain killers, but I can honestly say that I never was in pain. The itching was pretty bad for the first month, but after that, I didn’t have any noticeable impacts from surgery. Unbelievably clean work. As for results, I’m right at 2 months, so not much action to speak of. I feel like there’s a few little hairs sprouting in different places, but I know I probably have another couple months before I see anything meaningful. Enjoy the look while you can. I loved the way I looked for the first 10 days or so. I was probably back to my original hairline by 15-20 days so it didn’t last long before the shed set in. Now just trying to be patient and hope for the best.
  2. I had a procedure with Dr. K in August and had the same bruising around a number of the extraction sites. Nothing to worry about. Within a week it was gone and my donor looked like it had never been touched. You’ll be undetectable back there in a day or two.
  3. I’m not comfortable throwing them up online, but let me see if I can figure out a couple to PM to you. I didn’t want to hijack your thread, but I can provide a bit more detail of why I consider that surgery to be a failure: - I had a fairly small area to cover - basically my temples were weak, and wanted to reinforce my front middle. I wasn’t moving the hairline down. - He told me I needed 3000 grafts. I agreed not knowing any better. In retrospect, that was waaaay too many grafts for that area, considering what I see what most people on this site can do with 3000. It should have been 1000-1500, unless it was going to be extremely densely packed - I think it takes exceptional skills to do a super dense pack, which I believe few surgeons have - I don’t think Panine is one of those from what I’ve seen - A very small percent of my grafts survived - would be shocked if more than 25% did, and I believe it was because there were too many grafts in a small area - On follow ups, I never got to speak to the doc with my concerns, only Stuart - The hairline design, which was too angular, combined with the bad graft survival gave it an unnatural look - This lead me to Dr. Konior, who basically had to redo the exact same area. So far, it looks great, but early days I’ve seen good results from Panine (which is why I went there) so maybe I’m an outlier, but thought it helpful to share. If you do stick with him, would recommend a few things: - Make sure the number of grafts he’s suggesting seems appropriate for the area. Maybe do a consultation with a few different docs to see if they agree - Make sure you get adequate time with the doc, not just his sales rep to have your questions answered - Make sure you understand what you want your hairline design to be and that Panine spends adequate time creating a shape that aligns with that
  4. Not sure if you’re already locked in with Panine, but as someone who has gone with both him and Konior I would strongly advise looking at the latter, or Nadimi. My operation with Panine was basically a total failure. Looking back on it there were a number of things that should have happened differently. Yes, Konior is way more expensive, but money is replaceable, grafts aren’t.
