  1. Is it just an ego thing? Why didn't he spring for top-notch work?
  2. In some podcast interview, Tory said he paid 30k for his transplant and was looking forward to wearing his hair in cornrows soon. He talked about the surgeon as well.
  3. Then I misunderstood. Sorry you had a bad experience with Cinik. All surgeons should stand by their work.
  4. @Newyear newhair Your results at 4.5 months aren't "decent," they're stellar. If you had attributed these results to a top-rated surgeon on this site, you wouldn't be receiving these bizarre passive aggressive responses.
  5. It looks like early stage thinning of your crown, i.e. male pattern baldness. Dying your hair doesn't make a damn bit of difference, unless you were doing something like a harsh bleaching down to your roots, and even then it wouldn't be localized thinning. Go to a dermatologist with some actual experience treating hair loss. The longer you play around with vitamins and other crap, the worse this will get.
  6. @Fluffhead said in his thread opener that he got the exclusive package because the premium wasn't available until after he scheduled. It's nice to know that even the Eugenix reps are getting confused by all the packages this clinic is offering.
  7. @EvansLawrence Good luck and best wishes for your procedure. Thanks for sharing the experience. Where did you fly to Turkey from? HLC put you up in a hotel rather than their own apartment complex? Were there only two doctors in your consult? What about Dr. Ozgur and team approach they advertise?
  8. Ok. So why is Afro hair such a challenge to FUE, when the same curly root issue affects Caucasians? There's a ton of curly/wavy haired Caucasians.
  9. So Caucasians with curly or wavy hair could have the same FUE complications as those with Afro hair?
  10. Does Caucasian hair curl below the surface of the scalp?
  11. This drug protocol will not give you "less Androgens than born females" as stated in your earlier post. A small 2k FUT will not give you any kind of unusually high density.
  12. @ProfessorBald I've heard that Dr Lupanzula in Brussels sells topical Dutasteride. Since your hair loss is on the aggressive side, you might consider using something more potent to try and manage your MPB. Also look into RU58841 and see if you're comfortable using a topical like that. You are obviously very DHT sensitive, but I personally feel you still have time to make a significant improvement in your hair through pharmacological means. Dr. Bisanga and Dr Feriduni are in Belgium. I can't imagine two more aesthetic and reliable HT surgeons, but do your own research to confirm. Your budget needs to go up, though. Save up more cash for the next year or two and use that time for experimentation and improvement on your hair.
  13. No reputable clinic would penalize you because of the nebulous Corona restrictions all over the place.
  14. I have a lot of respect for your mindset. Something tells me you'll end up with the results you want.
  15. I've certainly been guilty of this behavior. Rather than expecting perfect results from an imperfect procedure, it might be better to look at how a surgeon deals with their results that don't turn out as expected. Do they stand by their patients?
  16. It seems to me like many surgeons try and weasel out of doing temple points with the whole, "I don't think you you need it" line. As if anyone "needs" temple points or even a HT at all. I feel as if I may have written off ASMED for a HT unfairly due to some of the rep they've developed around here, instead of using my own judgement based on their results. @Kraistoff Your hair looks fantastic. What a killer transformation.
  17. I think this will turn out amazing. Your donor looks untouched.
  18. If I'm reading you correctly, your favorite surgeon in the world is Couto, but he didn't even come close to delivering your best result? Why did you like him so much?
  19. I totally agree with this. I've been compulsively looking at hair transplant results for the past year and I wouldn't have noticed. @NDAustralia I get why you would be annoyed by the doubles, though. It was sloppy and avoidable on the doctor's part. You paid a premium price to go to The Knudsen Clinic, so you had an expectation of a meticulously crafted hairline.
  20. Nice. So as long as you get yours from this awful clinic, who cares about any other guys who might go to them in the future. They already told you to pay up for a second procedure. What do you have to lose by naming them at this point?
  21. The different packages do have various levels of doctor and tech involvement. @TrixGlendevon made valid points about the ethics of packages and the difficulty in determining which results are part of which package. On a personal note, I was about to pay my deposit with Eugenix to schedule surgery with the "Premium" package when they presented me with the option to go with the "Duo Premium" package. It was a turn off. I'm not trying to be dramatic. Just stating how I feel.
  22. Eugenix also offers the "Duo Premium" package, where both of the head doctors operate on you. Not to sound patronizing, but obviously it would be in your best interest to get the most expensive package.
  23. When you say "revolving door of surgeons" do you mean that HLC replaces it's working team of doctors frequently?
