You can try topical finasteride, supposedly it is less systemic and the side effects are less. You can also try taking different dosage sizes of finasteride, maybe 0.5mg per day, maybe 0.5mg every other day, or 1mg every other day, etc.

It is hard to say. Look at Rafael Nadal for example. He had a large transplant and his hair looked great, but thinned over time without finasteride. It all depends on your individual DHT susceptibility and other factors of your scalp, blood flow, fibrosis, etc. Finasteride or dutasteride are an extra insurance policy for your transplant. You may not need it, but it is good to have.

It looks like Hasson and Wong from the shape of the hairline, and the grid like pattern. Nevertheless, they have in recent times had numerous unsatisfied patients post here. It does seem like quality has been slipping there, I think doctor involvement has been minimal from what I remember reading.

You are missing the point, if the angulation and placement is wrong, growing the hair out will still be impossible to style and will look unnatural.

The crown takes longer due to less blood flow, so by 9 months you will see most of your results, 85%, and some further maturation in the next few months to come.

I do believe that general healthy lifestyle choices (eating organic food/ low sugar / low alcohol / trans fats), regular exercise + good sleep, can help reduce the chances of finasteride side effects.

Further, even if we assume jjalay to be speaking the truth, if OP's donor is more homogeneously extracted, even with those "high" graft numbers, it can still look very good at the appropriate hair length (a 2 or 3 buzz)

I would get another opinion, I am not a doctor but your photos do not show signs of DUPA. It looks like you have a healthy donor area to me, and particularly with such a strong medical regimen I would not worry about your donor thinning.

@GeneralNorwood Do you plan to just focus on the paretial areas to blend your sides and the top more naturally, and add more density in the midscalp? Medication will hopefully hold your crown area and back so it doesn't dip more, are you on finasteride or dutasteride?
