    Kruchie,

Thanks man. You're the one with the fantastic results from Cinik and DUT, right? I have some questions on Dutasteride, was thinking of trying it myself for my diffuse thinning. I'll message in a bit. Still having major non-cinik regret!!!

Yeah, I am happy with my results so far 😄 wasn't always the case though, I had a lot of worries about my hair throughout this process tbh but everything just kept getting better, I have a feeling it will be the same for you too. Happy to answer any Q's just message me. 🙏

  2. @PeezusI think I replied to your thread on Reddit? Just try and take a step back for a minute, everything could look SO much better in a few short months and if nothing else, you're young and have plenty of time. You're definitely not a point of no return. Just give it time and re-evaluate the situation. I actually don't think your hair looks that bad to be honest but that's not to say you don't have the right to feel the way you do about it, I've had some real dark times due to my hair too. Feel free to message me here or preferably on Reddit and we can chat a bit more.

    Hairline is looking great 👍🤚.

You may be one of the best dutasteride responders I've ever seen. Your crown regrowth is amazing, and considering you had very sparse grafts place there, we can probably attribute that regrowth to dutasteride.

Which is just amazing, most people just get maintenance, a lucky few regrowth like you!

Thank you 😁 I think I owe a lot of my result to Dutasteride, I feel very lucky.

Ok man thanks very much for that. I'll do my first round of shampooing today. I don't have many big scabs up there yet. I'm also super paranoid about touching the grafts or applying too much pressure to them so I'm a bit scared of washing this early, but it has been reccomended so I'll do it. I don't think I'll massage shampoo into the recipient area. Do you gently massage the recipient area?

I know exactly how you feel but you'll be fine, just do a gentle massage all over you scalp with the shampoo for now, you can use more pressure around day 10 onwards. Use a cup to rinse the shampoo off for the first week or so, then you can use the shower head. I think we all felt paranoid about touching the grafts in the beginning but you'll be okay, try not to worry.

    Happy growing. 😊

I had my transplant 2 days ago and I still haven't shampood yet. How important is to start shampooing at the soonest juncture post-op. In my doctors instructions it says to start shampooing the day after surgery but many sources here say they didn't start shampooing until day 3 or 4, and I'm paranoid about touching the grafts, so I'm thinking of waiting another day before I shampoo.

I would say shampooing is important because you need to help the scabs fall off but that probably won't happen until day 10+. The best advice I can give is to follow your post op instructions from your surgeon, regardless of what anyone else may say.

I was thinking something more like this:

    Phil-Ring-Does-Hair-Dos-For-Bald-Men-Sha

This is a example of someone who did get a hair piece on the right (left picture is his before picture). I would like to get a "thinning" piece that would somewhat resemble the look of the picture on the left and would provide an illusion of someone slowly losing hair.

I know it's an odd request, but I've been able to disguise wearing a piece this long... I don't want people realizing that I was always wearing one. Going from full head of hair on top to bald and no hair on top would be odd and a conversation I don't want to deal with. I am okay with with wearing for another year or so to show a better and more natural transition of thinning/balding.

As always, I am thankful for all your responses and suggestions.

I think the simplest solution for you would be to wear you systems for longer periods of time before replacing. This will allow them to slowly thin out over time, I think it would be better to do it this way as the process would be a gradual one. You could even pluck hairs out off the system using tweezers. I have got more ideas on ways you can transition without causing much suspicion, feel free to DM me and we can talk further about it. I also wore systems for a long time.

Now everyone will want to know what medication you are taking, then when they realize that those medication have no effect, it will be trouble for you😂😂😂

This is so funny because it's true. A few people have asked me what I'm taking for my hair, so I tell them about Fin and how I'm lucky to be such a good responder 😅, I don't mention my HT

those latest pics are without toppik? this is literally the dream

No Toppik, I'm not using that at the minute. I use a scalp concealer instead, which I had shampooed out before the photos, so you might see a spec here or there but no, there isn't any. I will take a photo with toppik soon, the difference is pretty drastic.

Looks great for only 4 months😄
Are you using any meds as well?
Would be great if you could take a side view picture as well😊

Yeah, I take Dutasteride and have recently been using Nizoral shampoo. Tbh with you though, I think Dutasteride has really helped, my hair has never been so thick and I've seen regrowth in places the HT didn't touch. That pic is a few days old, I'll take better pics of the sides tomorrow maybe.
