  1. This is so true, I'm only 5 months post op but this is currently my life, I try not to look at my hair in the mirror all the time but I can't help it. 😅😆
  2. Your results are amazing, quite inspiring actually, really pleased for you.
  3. Yeah, I am happy with my results so far 😄 wasn't always the case though, I had a lot of worries about my hair throughout this process tbh but everything just kept getting better, I have a feeling it will be the same for you too. Happy to answer any Q's just message me. 🙏
  4. @PeezusI think I replied to your thread on Reddit? Just try and take a step back for a minute, everything could look SO much better in a few short months and if nothing else, you're young and have plenty of time. You're definitely not a point of no return. Just give it time and re-evaluate the situation. I actually don't think your hair looks that bad to be honest but that's not to say you don't have the right to feel the way you do about it, I've had some real dark times due to my hair too. Feel free to message me here or preferably on Reddit and we can chat a bit more.
  5. Thank you 😁 I think I owe a lot of my result to Dutasteride, I feel very lucky.
  6. Everything looking great! Nice haircut too. 😁
  7. I know exactly how you feel but you'll be fine, just do a gentle massage all over you scalp with the shampoo for now, you can use more pressure around day 10 onwards. Use a cup to rinse the shampoo off for the first week or so, then you can use the shower head. I think we all felt paranoid about touching the grafts in the beginning but you'll be okay, try not to worry. Happy growing. 😊
  8. I would say shampooing is important because you need to help the scabs fall off but that probably won't happen until day 10+. The best advice I can give is to follow your post op instructions from your surgeon, regardless of what anyone else may say.
  9. This video literally broke my heart 💔, nobody should have to go through this shit. I just hope some younger guys manage to see this before rushing into a HT at a young age.
  10. Looks fantastic considering the amount of grafts you had, really nice.
  11. I didn't spray mine at all tbh, just regular shampooing from day 3 or 4 onwards.
  12. I smoked it (heavily) 2 weeks after my op and had no issues. I have recently quit though, due to other reasons.
  13. If you were to wear a system, you must be prepared to give up on your bio hair. Systems cause major traction alopecia.
  14. I think the simplest solution for you would be to wear you systems for longer periods of time before replacing. This will allow them to slowly thin out over time, I think it would be better to do it this way as the process would be a gradual one. You could even pluck hairs out off the system using tweezers. I have got more ideas on ways you can transition without causing much suspicion, feel free to DM me and we can talk further about it. I also wore systems for a long time.
  15. This is so funny because it's true. A few people have asked me what I'm taking for my hair, so I tell them about Fin and how I'm lucky to be such a good responder 😅, I don't mention my HT.
  16. Wow, your hair looks fantastic! Thanks for sharing @Bax, love your updates.
  17. Thank you. It's only been the past 2 weeks really where I've seen most of the growth. Hope you're doing well.
  18. Ahh thanks! I'm taking that as a huge compliment. No Toppik, I'm not using that at the minute. I use a scalp concealer instead, which I had shampooed out before the photos, so you might see a spec here or there but no, there isn't any. I will take a photo with toppik soon, the difference is pretty drastic. Yeah, I take Dutasteride and have recently been using Nizoral shampoo. Tbh with you though, I think Dutasteride has really helped, my hair has never been so thick and I've seen regrowth in places the HT didn't touch. That pic is a few days old, I'll take better pics of the sides tomorrow maybe.
  19. 😆😆 I have had to tell people I'm taking medication for my hair.
  20. Thank you 😊 I am really happy tbh, I would even be happy if there wasn't much further improvement. No longer having to worry about my hair is such a beautiful feeling, really is.
  21. Hi all. Quick 4 month update from me, all going well. Feel like my hair has been going through a bit of a growth spurt these past couple of weeks, noticing new hairs daily and everything just feeling thicker. I cut my hair a couple of days back, I basically did a bald fade, working up to a #4 guard. Let me know what you think. Thanks!
