  1. Hey I'm back, almost 4 years later after 1st surgery. I'm very happy so far. When my hair is well-combed and dry (like the photos I've shown you so far in this thread), no one can see my hair loss. But otherwise, there is a lack of density just behind the hairline, which makes styling more challenging. Nothing terrible, but you can see the difference between weak native hair and thick hair at the hairline (especially when wet) I remembered Lupanzula telling me that an additional 800/1000 graft would be needed in the future. I also have a slight asymmetry in the temples (right side), nothing terrible but it was also the opportunity to correct that. Here is a picture a few weeks before this new surgery : I didn't have an urgent need for this transplant, but since I'm not undergoing any treatment, I knew I would have to come back for small HT every 4/5 years to maintain and even improve my hair. So, this time, I opted for a halft-patchy approach (without a complete head shave) Around 1400graft : 350 for hairline and the rest for the first frontal third (in the pics) I'm currently 7 days after the surgery so far and everything is going well :
  2. I'm not taking any drugs. Hairline looks good. Crown still thin but that's okay. I needed at least 2500/3000 FUE and only 1500 for that area
  3. Thanks No, never had wavy hair, almost sure about that. Only transplanted hair has become a bit wavy Also, I'm not taking any meds (no propecia, no rogaine)
  4. Hairline looks good. But it has become a bit wavy, is this normal ? Is it going to become straight again after some time ? I have used a hair straightener on the following pic (10 months) :
  5. Nice. At 14 days, most scrubs should have disappeared. How old are you ?
  6. For hairline, this is what I look just before the surgery :
  7. A picture I took yesterday : Do you see any difference with 5 month ?
  8. I was basically talking about hairline, I'm almost sure I have no more new growth. I can except some thickening but that's all. But that's okay, the result is still pretty good. For crown, I did notice some improvement between month 5 and 6. So yeah I agree, crown should still improve.
  9. Pretty happy about the result but despite being at "only" 6 month, I think I'm at final result now.
  10. I forgot to post on this forum because I'm more active on french forums. I'm at 6 months now. Here are my 5 months pictures (I didn't see that much change between 5th month and 6th month) :
  11. And now 3 month picture (I will post 4th month at the end of the week when I reach the 4th month mark)
  12. Now for the second month (18th august). At this time a lot of hair started to grow : Pictures are reversed by 90°. I have no explanation for that
  13. I started losing graft earlier than most, at day 13. Before the end of 3rd week, I lost basically everything. Here are the one month pictures :
  14. Between day one and day two. At the evening when cooking at my airbnb. I'm pretty tall (6'5) so it happens most often than most people 😉
  15. About the surgery : everything went well. Almost painless. I healed very quickly. Some pics after the procedure :
  16. Hi, I was under FUE procedure almost 4 months ago. I'm more active on french forums but like this one too. Finally I'm making this topic. I'm 36, NW3V. I started losing hair in early twenties. Very agressive loss until late 20s then it slowed down a lot. It started by vertex and frontal thinning appeared later. I have no history of hair loss in my family. Pretty unlucky 😡 The operation was done within two days : day one : 2000 grafts for hairline day two : 1539 for crown/vertex (the total was 3559 because I lost 20 grafts when hurting my head 😡 I'm posting personal pics. And also other from the doc just before the surgery. I must confess about doc's pics : the light was pretty agressive which makes my hair look worse than normal conditions.
  17. There's noticeable improvement from 5 months to 9 months. If you still noticed improvement from 7/8 months to now, you can still expect some progress in the coming months.
  18. That's good news because your result at 5 month was a bit worrying. Most people would say it's too early but I don't agree. Generally at 6 months you have a pretty good idea about what your final result will look like.
  19. HI, I got a FUE hair transplant 14 days ago (3500FUE : 2000 for hairline and 1500 for vertex, will probably write a journal soon) in Belgium Anyway I'm a bit worried about something : crusts start falling very quickly as soon as day+6. At day+8 no more crusts. But my main concern is about shedding. I've heard grafts start shedding around the 3rd week. For me it starts earlier : at day+12 for the hairline, I lost 30/40% of my gratfs in the hairline. For the vertex region, no loss so far. Is it normal that grafts shed so quickly ? I've heard it should take at least 3 weeks. Thanks
