  1. My problem is that the little “up curve” there on the edges disturbs me
  2. I am 45 For Heitmann I just email his patient advisor at hairforlife, usually get a response within a couple of days, but yes , waiting time for Heitmann is long, waited 1.5 years for my first one
  3. About 2 years, directly after seeing the 1-year result of the first FUE
  4. Also have a feeling spending 500-800 grafts will not make a big difference long term, if I go NW7 I would have problems already now luckily I have plenty of chest hair that could be used in the worst case scenario I guess it comes down to if I really want to do it, but I have been thinking about it for over two years so I guess I want it
  5. My grandfather on my mothers side was NW7 at age 30. My father is maybe NW4 at age 73. I am in my fourties’ now. I think my hair loss have stopped with finasterid, but not 100% sure of course
  6. I always like the youthfulness of a straight hairline - for example like Brad Pitt’s - think his is straighter than mine
  7. I live in Switzerland, budget is not a problem, want the best one, considering going to the same one again, just long waiting times, so wondering if anyone else nearby would do a job of the same quality The first FUE was with Dr Heitmann
  8. My first surgery was with Dr Heitmann - I have posted about it here
  9. Thanks - I like honest feedback - here is a picture from another angle - I guess it doesn’t change your view ?
  10. Hi I did a hairline FUE soon 3 years ago (1850 grafts) which I am very happy with. Now I am considering adding another 500 to 1000 to make the hairline even straighter ? Which surgeon would you recommend for this? Attaching photos of my current state cut to 10mm (on top) and 8mm (donor). Thanks in advance for your advice
  11. He works alone and does everything himself and therefore it takes time. The procedure with me was roughly split into four 6 hour sessions over a 48 hour time window, with long breaks between, where 25% of the grafts where extracted and directly implanted per session. Not sure about the punch size, but all manual punches. All felt very dedicated and professional.
  12. I did a FUE with him. Very happy. He does everything himself, no help at all so the procedure takes a while and waiting time long, but I would say worth it. Here is my result:
  13. Here are one picture from 4 months and one from 5 months 4 months 5 months
  14. Hi all Here is my 12 months result from my FUE in the hairline by Dr. Lars Heitmann in Zürich, Switzerland. In general, I am very happy both him as a surgeon, the procedure and the result. In my view the result look very natural and density is good. Curious to hear what you think. Before the surgery I was estimated to be somewhere between Norwood 2 and Norwood 3 with hair loss mainly in the hairline, crown still intact. I did the surgery in my early 40s. Graft breakdown: 265 singles 778 doubles 807 triples Total: 1850 grafts, 4245 hairs Now to the pictures. After 3 months all transplanted grafts had shed. I noticed the fastest growth month 4, 5 and 6. From month 7 to 12 slow and gradual improvements. I have been constantly growing my hair longer as I want to try a longer hairstyle now when the hairline looks decent. Before surgery Hairline design Directly After surgery Two weeks post surgery 3 months status 6 months status Dry/non styled Styled - 3 different light conditions 8 months status - Wet/Dry/Styled 12 months status - wet from 3 angles/dry/styled
  15. A lot happened between 3 and 4 months. I never actually noticed any individual hairs coming somehow, but if I compare photos from 3 months post surgery with 4 months post surgery I see a huge difference.
  16. I will share details about the doctor after I see the 12 months result.
  17. I will share details about the doctor after I see the 12 months result.
  18. Hi all Now I have come to the 6 months mark after my FUE hairtransplant and wanted to share my intermediate result. What do you think about the result? How many % of the grafts do you think area already growing? Thanks in advance for your comments! Before surgery - 20-30 mm hair, dry Before surgery - 20-30 mm hair, wet, recipient area marked Directly after the operation, around 1860 grafts placed. 11 days after surgery, crusts gone. 6 months status - dry hair. Not styled. 6 months status. Styled hair - 3 different lightning conditions.
  19. So far its just theory from my side. Nicotine is a vasoconstrictor which in theory would mean worse blood supply to the grafts, which in theory could impair healing and growth.
